Patches
Almost all the shortcomings are corrected by the update to Batman: Arkham Knight. Start optimization is carried out by the company just a few days after the release of the game. First of all, the patch became available to those who bought the new Batman on the Steam site. Despite the fact that the update took only 68 MB, it affected almost all important issues.

For example, in an ini file called UserSystemSetting, the user can set the fps. To do this, you need to open the document with notepad, find the MaxFPS line and enter the required amount.
The problem with a black frame or screen is solved by adjusting the resolution. The player should set the same characteristics both in the game and on the desktop. Steam users can fix the problem by typing -windowed in the launch line. This will allow you to run the game in windowed mode.

Optimization for weak PCs is possible, but if the characteristics of the computer do not match the specified ones, most likely nothing will work. It is best to take an integrated approach and limit yourself not only to adjusting image parameters, but also installing drivers, programs and patches. Thus, even a weak PC can provide good performance and stable operation.
The first patch with fixes for Batman: Arkham Knight and an interesting mod
Rocksteady Studios, the company responsible for the development (but not the PC port) of Batman: Arkham Knight, has made available the first patch that fixes a number of bugs:
- ensured correct completion of the game;
- restored the correct operation of the rain effect;
- the integrity and density of surrounding objects are ensured;
- Fixed a bug that caused the game to be reloaded from Steam when checking the game cache through the Steam client.
- Fixed a bug that caused the game to crash when the Motion Blur effect was disabled in the settings file.
This patch is just the first step towards a re-release of Batman: Arkham Knight for the PC platform. Its specific date is not called, but the developers have clarified the list of changes that still need to be made to the game before the re-release:
- support for speeds above 30 fps in the graphics settings menu;
- fix bug with low resolution textures;
- improving the overall level of performance;
- adding new options to the graphics settings menu;
- improved streaming of game data from the internal drive;
- correct work in full-screen mode on gaming laptops;
- optimization of the use of system and graphics memory;
- ensuring the correct operation of AMD CrossFire and NVIDIA SLI bundles;
- Support for updated drivers for video cards from AMD and NVIDIA.
As you can see, Rocksteady Studios specialists are provided with work for a long time. In the meantime, they are working hard to fix other people's mistakes, the fans have developed a very interesting mod. It makes 10 more characters playable (besides Batman). Among them: Robin, Nightwing, Harley Quinn, Azrael, Catwoman, Joker, Commissioner Gordon and others. However, keep in mind that this is an unofficial release, so it is recommended to save all game data before applying it.
Company Warner Bros. officially released a patch for the PC version of the game. As the site has learned, a 626 MB update should fix most of the problems, and an impressive frame rate drop in particular.
The beta version of the patch appeared yesterday, September 3, and was available only to some users who agreed to participate in testing. According to the testers, the patch literally works wonders, completely eliminating most of the most pressing problems of the PC version of the game.

Game saves but doesn't see saves? This is a bug of all CPY cracks for Denuvo, it does not appear in all systems.
To fix, open the CPY.ini file in the retail folder, write the path to the game in the SavePath=%DEFAULT_CPY_DIR% line. For example, if the game is installed in the C:/Games/Batman - Arkham Knight folder, the line should look like this: SavePath=C:/Games/Batman - Arkham Knight
