Prepare foods:

  • 3/4 cup of water,
  • 0.5 cups pumpkin,
  • 3.25 cups wheat flour,
  • 2 tbsp. spoons of granulated sugar,
  • 1.5 teaspoons salt,
  • 2 tbsp. spoons of powdered milk,
  • 1 tbsp. spoon of butter,
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla sugar,
  • 1.75 teaspoons yeast,
  • 1/3 cup shelled pumpkin seeds.

I would like to remind you that a measuring cup and spoon are included with the bread machine; they are used to measure the necessary products.

The listed ingredients are added in the same order as I indicated. Before you start baking pumpkin bread, you need to do a little preparation.

Namely, be sure to grate the pumpkin on a medium grater, sift it, mash the pumpkin seeds a little and fry them.

We take the mold out of the bread machine and install the dough mixer.

Add the ingredients listed above in order.

Ingredients

  • Vegetable oil – 3 tbsp.
  • Sugar – 3 tsp.
  • Freshly squeezed pumpkin juice – 355 ml
  • Salt – 2 tsp.
  • Rye flour – 75 g
  • Wheat flour – 500 g
  • Raw pumpkin seeds – 25 g
  • Dry yeast – 1.5 tsp.

How to bake pumpkin bread in a bread machine:

  1. I used freshly squeezed juice in this recipe. If you don't have a juicer, you can puree the raw pumpkin pulp using a blender. Only then will the proportions change and you will need to add water - take 55 ml of water for 300 ml of puree.
  2. So, I squeezed the juice out of the pumpkin.
  3. I rinsed the mold with hot water before putting the ingredients into it. Then she poured in the slightly warmed juice of the orange beauty.
  4. Then vegetable oil.
  5. I added the required amount of salt and sugar.
  6. I measured out the required amount of wheat flour (necessarily of the highest quality).
  7. And then rye.
  8. Sifted through. I poured it into the bowl.
  9. I threw in some peeled pumpkin seeds.

I have many proven pumpkin-based recipes in my culinary arsenal. Everything always turned out delicious, so you can imagine how much I didn’t want to have a bad experience. Besides, I don’t cook bread often, sometimes I’m too lazy, sometimes I don’t have flour on hand, sometimes I don’t have any other ingredients. But how could you miss such a great recipe and not make pumpkin bread!

Ingredients

  • 2 cups wheat flour;
  • 1 cup whole grain flour;
  • 230 ml water;
  • 2.5 tablespoons sugar;
  • 0.5 teaspoons salt;
  • 1.5 teaspoons dry yeast;
  • 200 grams of pumpkin;
  • 2 tablespoons of milk powder;
  • 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil.

What vegetable oil should I take? I look at the situation - if I have olive oil at home, I use it. If not, I add sunflower oil, always refined. I haven’t tried using corn oil, although it is praised.

Preparation

Pour the strictly indicated amount of water into the bowl of the bread machine, no more, no less. Check the instructions, as your model may have a different loading sequence for ingredients.

Add 2 measuring cups of sifted wheat flour (about 320 g).

Add whole wheat flour, 1 measuring cup (about 160 g).

Pour salt and sugar into the bread machine bowl according to the recipe.

Make a well in the flour on top and pour dry yeast into it. Be careful not to let the yeast come into contact with the water.

Add vegetable oil, such as sunflower or olive, to the ingredients.

Fresh pumpkin must be carefully peeled, cut out the pulp, and discard the seeds. Then grate the pumpkin on a fine grater or pass it through a meat grinder, add it to the bread maker bowl.

The final touch before kneading is adding good milk powder. That's it, now select the Basic baking program, loaf weight 700 g, crust color as desired.

After the beep, carefully remove the loaf of fragrant pumpkin bread from the bread maker bowl and cool it on a wire rack. Once the bread has cooled, store it in cellophane or a plastic container in the refrigerator.
