All secret doors. Dark Souls: Remastered - Locations of All Illusory Walls Dark souls 2 illusory walls do not open

Secrets and caches in Dark game Souls 2 plays an important role, because sometimes players get tired of constant boss battles and sometimes spend hours wandering around looking for different easter eggs and alternative ways to play the game. But such places, as a rule, do not stand out at all among the general textures of the game. Therefore, it is advisable to know about them in advance in order to accurately get to the cherished secrets and valuables.

What can be hidden?

Illusory Walls
One of the most common ways to hide such places is with "Illusory Walls". Before the hero in the picture was regular wall, but after approaching it and pressing the "Action" key, secret passages and locations will open.

Notable is the fact that you don't need any special items or stats to open these doors.
You can find an illusory wall even easier if you use, say, a Miracle Conduit or just Hollow Skin (in this case, the notification “Search the environment” will appear on the screen).

Explore every centimeter of the map, despite the fact that the world here is quite cruel and unpredictable. Your search will always be rewarded with something truly valuable, although no one in Dark Souls 2 is not immune from being in the hiding place of his ridiculous death.

Pharro's Lockstones
Secret places will also help you find the so-called Pharros Stones. You can purchase the very first one from the merchant Melentia. Later, you will come across them throughout the entire plot of the game. The developers have added 19 places to the game that can be opened using Pharros stones. All locations are shown in the video below.

RingRing Of Binding
Secrets and hiding places in Dark Souls 2 are not always places or locations. The game is very difficult to pass for experienced fans of the series, let alone beginners. There are features that can change the gameplay for the better. After death, the maximum level of the hero's health can drop by almost half! But there is a solution to this problem, and it will definitely make the game process easier for you. The Ring Of Binding will keep your character at a constant 75% health. You can find the ring in a tower called Heide's Tower of Flame. It is not difficult to do this, because we have left a video guide for you.

Location
Forest of Fallen Giants:
After the first meeting with Pate. You go through the descending gate, then we go into the corridor. Before the start of the stairs, the wall will be on the right. Behind the wall is a sorcerer's staff and amber grass.

Deserted pier:
In a building with a lattice (cutoff path), on the ground floor opposite front door there is a ghostly wall. Hides a large titanite shard and a fiery butterfly x3.
In the building after the place where the shortcut is, there is a building on the right side (two swordsmen - Vangarians are still sitting there and there are many barrels of poison). There is a wall behind the barrels, stands out. It is not illusory, it must be broken with weapons. Behind her is the ring of the king's soldier and the crystal lizard, so be prepared.

Forgotten Fortress:
There are two walls in a row here at once: The first one is under Straid's chamber, two floors below, in one of the openings in the wall (there will be a dead end, which, as it were, hints), the next one is in the corridor to which the first wall leads. Behind them will lie a corpse, to which you will need to jump. It contains a fiery butterfly and a torch x3. On the same platform with the corpse, there will be a very thin path on the right (consider it is part of the wall), you need to go along it until it stops. At the end is a shield with golden wings and the soul of a brave warrior.
In the room where we fought the Guardians of the Ruins, there will be six illusory walls at once on two floors (including the wall on the flight of stairs).

Hill of Sinners:
We go down the elevator. We enter the water, on the right and left in the openings there will be large mobs. If you look into the right opening, then the wall will be opposite us. Hides the Northern Ritual Ring.

Hunter's Grove:
After the fire under the bridge, we exit, go left (you need to break the tree to get through). We go up the stairs, go into the building, fall down (not into round hole, but just one level down). Then we rise and go point-blank to the wall on the left. This is the first illusory door. We go along the corridor in it, we go down on a convenient elevator, and we go point-blank. This is the second door. Be careful - behind her is a strong mob and two poisonous butterflies. In the chest is Ricardo's Rapier. You can get here in another way: we leave the same fire and fall down (carefully so as not to fly over), find a hole in the mountain and go into it, and under this road there will be the same zone with that strong mob. The advantage is that we will also take away the extra loot.

Earth Peak:
Before the passage to the fog of the boss Mit, there will be a passage in the wall on the right. You need to climb to the very top and go "outside". To the right and left (outside) there will be two Illusory Walls. Behind one of them is the Bonfire, behind the second - Something Petrified.
After the second fire, we climb the stairs to the top (there will still be a floor trap on the floor with the launch of three arrows). We see a long staircase to the top, go up and go to the left - towards that corridor with steps and two bots (corridor leading to the boss). We go into the corridor, turn to the right, break the vessels with acid, behind them there will be an illusory wall. Behind her is the Mage's Quartz Ring +1.

Iron Citadel:
After moving to the Tower of the Sun location, you need to ring the bell and go through this location to the end, thereby returning to the Iron Citadel, and before jumping down, probe the only wall (it will be on the right, you won’t miss it). Behind it is the Black Knight Sword.
Before reaching Magerold (merchant), there will be a left turn. We go up the stairs and there will be a wall on the right - this is the first illusory wall. 20 fiery arrows will lie there. Then we go in - and into the wall that the ballista is looking at - this is the second one. Watch out, there's a knight behind her.

Brightstone Bay - Tseldora:
There is an illusory door in front of the boss in the church on the left. On NG+ and beyond, there will be a hostile cleric at the end (same as the ones during the boss itself). Hides Estus Flask Shard.

Drangleic Castle:
In front of the queen, if you do not climb the last steps - on the left, immediately after the previous steps, there is a staircase. If you go down it and go around this corner - there will be an illusory wall. There is a fire behind her.

Crypt of the Undead:
In the room where the red phantom invades, exactly opposite the passage to the corridor to the two knights of Reeve, there will be an illusory door. Be careful with opening the chest - ghosts crawl out from the walls. Hides - aveline.

In the long hallway to the boss in a room (facing towards the boss, it will be on the left) that has a staircase to a room filled with equipment-breaking acid. The secret door will be on a small span between the stairs, on the left. There is a fire behind her.

Orro's memories:
Behind the door of Pharros. Behind the wall is a set of steel armor, as well as a fire seed.

They know firsthand how useful it can sometimes be to hit every wall that just comes into view. A lot of interesting things can be hidden behind them. The Dark Souls series is one of the few games with really complex secrets. If you have not yet explored every corner of Lordran, then we will tell you how to find all the illusory walls.

Illusory walls are the most common doors, but they can only be opened by a blow. If after the swing of the sword the wall disappeared, then most likely something really useful and interesting awaits you ahead.

Illusory walls usually hide Covenants (which you can join), NPCs, bosses, and secret locations that open the way to other hidden areas. Behind some you can find the best armor in the game. So trust me, you don't want to miss out on what's behind them.

Dark Souls: Remastered - All Illusory Wall Locations

Illusory walls are secret doors that instantly disappear when attacked. In locations from additions instead of physical strength you need to use a Light Spell ( Cast light). This is the only way to make the wall disappear. Usually chests, special characters with unique quests, bonfires, and sometimes entire hidden locations are hidden behind them.

Now you know where to find all the illusory walls and what lies behind them. As a rule, these are chests with non-story bosses, useful characters, bonfires and other bonuses. Sometimes, in order to get to the treasures, you will have to kill additional enemies or use special items that are desirable to purchase in advance.
