Foolish Russia. How Vladimir Zhirinovsky won the election

Tags: Zhirinovsky

As you probably know, Vladimir Volfovich was the first to register as a candidate for the presidency. This is far from his first attempt to become president; before that, the founder and permanent leader of the Liberal Democratic Party took part in the presidential campaigns of 1991, 1996, 2000, 2008 and 2012. The Liberal Democrat showed the best result in 2008 - 9.35% of voters. And now, after 10 years, another attempt)

VVZh can be treated differently - someone considers him a provocateur, someone a showman, someone else somehow. For me personally, one thing is clear - to create a party back in 1989 and keep it afloat so that the whole country knows about it, to participate in the elections of deputies of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation in all seven convocations, I will tell you this seriously.

Why did I suddenly start about Vladimir Volfovich? Yes, I just came across a video on YouTube with his campaign program called "A powerful leap forward!" and couldn't get past.

In short, the most interesting of his theses, in my opinion, sound like this:
- replace all judges and governors with fresh sensible personnel
- to disperse the deputies of the State Duma and leave about 200 people
- "connect the country to the Schengen" and remove visas
- not allowed to compete? Threaten in all possible ways, but protect athletes
- return all their territories through referendums :)
- stop paying off debts
- special conditions for Siberia and the Far East (remove taxes, cancel conscription)
- cancel 282
- one state language Russian
- ban collectors
- remove management companies
- death penalty for rapists and terrorists
- close the border with Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan with Afghanistan
- "golden" children who drive on Geliki around the capital - to be evicted to hell 300 km from Moscow

And after all this, the question is - what is he saying wrong?
Quite the same sensible things voiced in my opinion. Why do so many people take it lightly?
Personally, I have always considered him to be a rather intelligent and intelligent politician, and last year I took the opportunity to talk to him live and was not disappointed.

What do you think about Zhirinovsky? Would you like to see him as president?

“Each woman gets a man, each man gets 3 rubles 60 kopecks of vodka, and they both get 2 rubles 20 kopecks of sausages. Let's wash our boots in the Indian Ocean!" Approximately such a program by V.V. We remember Zhirinovsky from the time he ran for President of the Russian Federation. Seductive, however, program! Capaciously, simply, intelligibly. I remember one more of his catchphrases: “It is necessary to legalize polygamy in our country!” Why not legalize polyandry as well? And then we will definitely live like in Sweden, because the families are “Swedish”!

How is V.V. Zhirinovsky going to win votes today? Let's look at the program of the LDPR party in the last State Duma elections.

1.“LDPR stands for the Russians!“To give the Russian people the status of a state-forming nation. If there are no Russians, there will be no Russia either. Good for Russians - good for everyone! We are building our common Russian House for the Russians and with all the indigenous peoples of Russia!”

And where will we put the rest of the nationalities of the Russian Federation? Shall we send it somewhere else, or just kill us? Well, so that the Russians do not interfere with “good” life. Or will only Russians live “good”, and “all the indigenous peoples of Russia” will build? That is, we will return to the slave system? Will Russians live “well” and “indigenous peoples” plow? In general, a play on words. About nothing.

2.“It is necessary” to unite within Russia (on a voluntary basis) all the territories of the former USSR, proving that in the conditions of cardinal geopolitical and climatic changes in the world, only united and strong powers can be viable"

Clearly smacks of imperialism. After all, Vladimir Volfovich, there is a small snag here. And who will feed all these "former socialist republics"? Is the Caucasus and Chechnya not enough for you today? Want more freeloaders? Judging by the history of recent years, after the collapse of the USSR, our "near abroad" somehow did not really gain a foothold in the world economic arena. Except for those who successfully sell drugs, of course.

3. “The LDPR party believes that full-scale industrialization should be carried out in Russia. To restore the industry ruined in the 1990s, without which the further movement of the country is impossible. But on new, innovative principles. We need green industrialization.”

Here!!! Here it is! "Prihvatization" is not enough for our oligarchs, let's "restore" all the plants and factories that have long been owned by "shareholders" at the expense of the state treasury! Vladimir Volfovich, what have the "masters" of these "industries" been doing for the last 20 years? Why didn't you carry out the notorious presidential "modernization" along with your "green industrialization" at your own expense? Where did the money go, which was pumped out of these "industries"? There is a loophole for corruption! Oh, how sweet the state "feeding trough" is! You can't drag it right behind your ears!

4. “Liquid, write off debts on rent, for electricity and gas for all pensioners, for all Russian citizens with incomes of less than 7 thousand rubles due to additional federal budget revenues. Write off the debts of agricultural organizations, farmers, and everyone who works on the land at the expense of additional federal budget revenues.

Here's a fool! And I, like the last idiot, paid for it all! No, good thesis, no words. That just begs the question: who will make up these lists for paying off debts? Our valiant housing and communal services, energy and Gazprom themselves? And until when will we cover the debts at the expense of “additional federal budget revenues”? Farmers need help. Here is the full “Odobryams!” But why again from the treasury? And who will check the lists of these farmers? Not a loophole, but a whole Babylonian gate for corruption! After all, there is another way out - just stop "eating red caviar with spoons" and start buying farm bread, milk and meat. And about dealers-wholesalers, I better keep silent. Otherwise, they will be "banned" - a three-story Russian mat is not listed on the Internet.

5. “The Liberal Democratic Party supports the population of Russia and demands a minimum wage of 50 rubles per hour, since 2014 - 100 rubles per hour. Work is provided primarily to Russian citizens, then to migrants. Cancel income tax on earnings up to 10 thousand rubles a month. Introduce an additional tax on excess income.

And again, “I approve!” And private entrepreneurs will also have to pay wages to their employees, at the rate of 50-100 rubles per hour? The thesis, frankly, is purely populist. To be honest, when will it finally reach our people and all those in power and “like them” that you have to pay for WORK, for a competitive product produced, and not for the time stupidly spent at work? We do not produce anything worthwhile, our "brands" are oil, gas, diamonds and timber! Where are all our "scientists-geniuses" who already today receive "not sickly loot" for their "scientific and technical innovative research"? By God, it's a shame for the State!

6. “The Liberal Democratic Party believes that it is necessary to pay attention to “remote territories, especially Siberia and the Far East. 80% of natural resources are concentrated here, but 20% of the population. Serious wage increases, subsidized housing, roads, and the development of processing industries should become the basis for settling these fertile places. Implement the principle of a tax-free economy in the Far Eastern Federal District for the next five years. The same principle should be applied on the territory of the Kaliningrad region.”

Along the way, I know where the “non-Russians” will be exiled and where “all the indigenous peoples of Russia” will really plow! In order for people to strive "into the wilderness, to Siberia", there must first be at least some kind of order put in place! Well, at least catch and imprison all the killers for a start! Where are you taking us, Vladimir Volfovich? A non-drying alcoholic directly "on the pen"? Or hide in dugouts in the forest in order to stay alive? The idea of the thesis is wonderful, but the ways to solve the problem are somehow “muddy”. And in general, maybe it’s already enough to live only on the innumerable "natural wealth" of our "fertile places"? What will we leave for the children?

7. “Radically change the budget policy. Sharply increase investment in engineering and construction. Fill local budgets by redistributing taxes between the center and the regions. Now 90% of local budgets are in deficit, everyone is on their knees in front of the center.”

I beg your pardon, but who adopted the Budget Code and annually approved the state budget? Or were you not present at those meetings of the State Duma? Or, excuse me, our elected, highly paid deputies will only receive a salary, and we will write laws? The question arises: why do we need the State Duma at all?

8. “To promote the cult of the family in society. The concept of "maternity capital" should be renamed "family capital", increased to 500 thousand rubles with an annual increase outstripping inflation for the birth of the first child and 700 thousand rubles for the birth of the second. To issue this money, including for the improvement of living conditions. To strengthen the family and increase the birth rate, reduce the working day for women with children under 14 by two hours and increase annual leave to 35 days.”

On this occasion, I want to say in the words of my 87-year-old grandmother: “And we, fools, gave birth for free!” Of course, maternity capital is a good thing. But what about those who are infertile or, due to their age, can no longer bear children? That is, all the “youngsters”, thanks to this point of the program, will “roll like cheese in butter”, and the rest of the women will hunchback like damned, so that the state has the means to pay “family capital”? Inequality results and injustice. It's a shame! At the same time, undermining their own economy and devaluing their own currency. Inflation will just skyrocket! And we will never keep up with rising prices, especially for housing.

9. “The Liberal Democratic Party for the promotion of culture - to the masses. Not all of our citizens today have enough money to go to performances in the theater or concert halls. The Liberal Democratic Party considers it quite appropriate to give away unredeemed places to visit cultural and sports events for free to the poor, large families. Thus, we will improve the culture of citizens and reduce the level of drug addiction, alcoholism and crime in general.”

Good thesis. I just don’t understand how this can affect the reduction of vices in our society. Mostly intelligent people go to performances and concerts. Alcoholics and drug addicts, and especially criminals, most likely will not fall for "high culture". But in order to rob or rob, they can line up for free counterfeits. A very successful "going to the theater" can turn out. Yes, and drug addicts will have a place to get high - warm, dry, dark. And drunks in general can arrange a "one-actor theater" in front of the public. And from the same line for counterfeits, these representatives of society can easily push our poor intelligentsia, just like that, "to neigh." Here we need to decide: either give the poor the opportunity to "touch the high and eternal", or reduce the "level of drug addiction, alcoholism and crime ". It is necessary to divide the thesis, to divide!

10. “Stop the rampant crime in the country by making the police capable and professional. Employee salaries need to be increased

law enforcement agencies at least twice, to carry out a regular rotation of the heads of law enforcement agencies throughout the country. For bribes, deprive of titles and positions, subject to unconditional criminal punishment.

Before, they were punished with confiscation of property. Now everyone has become lawyers, for the soul - only a cap, there is nothing to take from them, the poor. And crime should be stopped not by raising the salary of the police, but by the preventive work of the same police among the population. The capacity of the police is determined by its high professionalism. The professionalism of a police officer should be initially, as a given. Otherwise, what does a person do in the police at all? And the Criminal Code has already got tired of adding and rewriting, like schoolchildren who did not finish their homework! He has long been needed NEW. And be sure to return the confiscation of property to it, even from the relatives of the embezzler, up to the 7th generation! And then it happens with us: an unemployed father of a family is imprisoned for 3 years for a bag of potatoes, and a stealing official is fined 100 rubles for a “state shortage” of billions of dollars. Theater of the Absurd!

This is such an unrealistic "fabulous" program! Or is it fabulously "unreal"?

Something I did not find anything about washing boots in the Indian Ocean. I imagine a picture: we, all such 140 million, with axes and pitchforks, floundered on India, the population of which is 1 billion with a significant hook. As in a joke: “They report to the Secretary General of China: “Bulgaria has declared war on us!” Secretary General: “And what hotel did they stay in?” Apparently, Vladimir Volfovich bought himself a ticket to Goa, since he excluded the item on the Indian Ocean from the party program.

So what will happen if Zhirinovsky becomes president?

All "non-Russians" and "indigenous peoples of Russia" will build Russian houses under the project name "Russian House".

There will be a "voluntary" unification of the former Soviet republics. It's like in the first cartoon about Shrek: "Drive us guests!"

After that, it seems that the Russians will go to work in Tajikistan or Uzbekistan, because only there will be “loot is unmeasured” due to the high birth rate of the local population. After all, “family capital” will be paid for each child (!) And in the Central Asian countries, a high birth rate was "the talk of the town" back in the days of the Soviet Union.

Our salary will be 100 rubles per hour. Everyone! And a brilliant scientist who promotes progress, and fat aunts selling seeds in the bazaar. Equality and brotherhood!

The debts of the population will be written off, plants and factories will be re-equipped. All this will be done at the expense of the state treasury. And the debts of the population will grow and grow, because the lists will be written by those to whom the budget money is transferred.

Those who did not leave for Central Asia will be driven to Siberia to develop its innumerable natural resources. With pickaxe and shovels. Doesn't it remind you of anything?

Almost forgot! Our bitter alcoholics and unthinking drug addicts, along with the rest of the criminal elements, will gather in crowds every week, from Thursday to Sunday, near theaters, cinemas and other highly cultured institutions. The poor and those with many children have not seen the theater, and they will not see it. Because the criminal element went "to work". Poor theater and film buffs who themselves paid a lot of money for their addiction to high art! Sitting next to a stinking alcoholic, a drug addict getting high, or a criminal digging through your purse, playing with a penknife - you can’t imagine a worse punishment!

Police departments will not know who their boss is in the morning, and who will be appointed in the evening. Rotation of leaders, however! Therefore, no one will care about the problems of the population - in whose name should the application be written?

The army, judging by the program, will generally be sent home along with nuclear weapons. Health care will be completely transferred to Israel - there are good clinics there, so they should be wasted. Education - 3 classes parochial. To wave a pick and a shovel in Siberia is quite enough.

And, in the end, the native Liberal Democratic Party, headed by the “beloved” V.V. Zhirinovsky, will sit down with a “broken trough”, called the “state treasury” in the common people, and in the president’s New Year’s address we will hear: “We need to raise taxes. 500 percent! And introduce another 500 additional taxes and fees. Otherwise, we don’t have money to pay “family capital” to Uzbeks and Tajiks!”

Definitely, Vladimir Volfovich! The country's budget is "our everything"!

And somewhere else in this society of equality and fraternity there must be Russians who live “good”. Something is not visible here. Probably in London...

An unhappy picture. “We wanted the best, it turned out as always!”

But Vladimir Volfovich is a highly educated person: a lawyer, an orientalist, an international specialist, a doctor of philosophy. He is the founder and permanent leader of the LDPR, has orders and medals of the Russian Federation, has released 22 books and 2 solo albums. Retired colonel in the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation. Brilliant speaker. An exemplary family man. Speaks 4 languages. It is rightly said that a talented person is talented in everything. Incidentally, the resignation of Yu.M. Luzhkov is the merit of VV Zhirinovsky. This means that a person has an idea of social justice. And he is a man of culture! Otherwise, why is there a thesis in the program about introducing cultureless alcoholics-drug addicts to high culture, although there is not a word about the army and the country's defense capability. Doesn't fit right...

Maybe he should change his PR manager? Or a copywriter?

Family Zhirinovsky was married to Galina Alexandrovna Lebedeva. According to Zhirinovsky, in 1978 they officially divorced, and since then they have been connected by a church marriage.

In October 1993, Zhirinovsky supported Yeltsin in the conflict between the President of Russia and the Supreme Soviet of the Russian Federation. Zhirinovsky lost to the incumbent governor and candidate from the Communist Party Mikhail Beskhmelnitsyn. In 1999, the Central Election Commission of Russia did not register the list of the Liberal Democratic Party, accusing it of financial irregularities. As a result of political agreements, the "Party of the Spiritual Revival of Russia" and the "Russian Union of Free Youth" created "Block Zhirinovsky".

In December 1999, the Zhirinovsky Bloc won about 4 million votes (5.98% of the vote), ranking fifth among the six parties that entered the State Duma.

In January 2000, Zhirinovsky was elected to the post of Deputy Chairman of the State Duma of the third convocation, in connection with which he refused to lead the LDPR parliamentary faction. The faction was headed by the son of Zhirinovsky Igor Lebedev.

Vladimir Zhirinovsky was re-elected as a deputy and became deputy chairman of the State Duma of the Russian Federation of the fourth convocation from the LDPR party.

In the 2004 presidential election, Vladimir Zhirinovsky did not run, and the party nominated Zhirinovsky's former bodyguard instead - Oleg Malyshkin, which ended up in last place.

In September 2007, the pre-election congress of the LDPR was held, at which the electoral lists were approved: the federal list was headed by Vladimir Zhirinovsky and Igor Lebedev.

According to the results of the elections held in December 2011, the party won 11.67% of the votes.

In December 2011, Zhirinovsky's son Igor Lebedev was elected to the post of Deputy Chairman of the State Duma of the sixth convocation and resigned from the leadership of the LDPR parliamentary faction. Zhirinovsky himself again became the head of the LDPR faction in the State Duma.

In March 2012, presidential elections were held in Russia, in which Vladimir Zhirinovsky won 6.22% of the vote and took fourth place, losing to the winner in the first round Vladimir Putin, and .

Over the years of his political career, Vladimir Zhirinovsky has repeatedly become a participant in high-profile scandals and litigation.

In his speeches, Zhirinovsky has repeatedly spoken out about the need to tighten legislation, to lift the current moratorium on the death penalty, to prosecute politicians who have not fulfilled their election promises, to unite Russian regions, to join Ukraine and Belarus to the Russian Federation on the basis of new federal districts and other political reasons.

Zhirinovskaya often speaks from the standpoint of Russian nationalists, and is one of the opponents of the idea of attracting guest workers. During the 2012 election campaign, he promised to "drive all migrants out of the country and give jobs to Russian citizens."

In the summer of 2015, he was one of the first among Russian politicians to be included in the US sanctions list for his active pro-Russian position in the conflict between Ukraine and the Donbass republics.

Zhirinovsky took the initiative to distribute 40 million hectares arable land to residents of the Russian regions, having previously brought the necessary infrastructure to the sites.

Scandals

Back in April 1967, Vladimir Zhirinovsky sent a letter to the Central Committee of the CPSU addressed to Leonid Brezhnev on the need for individual reforms in education, agriculture and public transport. For this, Zhirinovsky was "summoned for a conversation" to the department of universities of the Moscow City Committee (MGK) of the CPSU.

In 1969, Vladimir Zhirinovsky went on an internship to Turkey as a translator at Anatoly Skorichenko- the head of the Soviet builders in the city of Bandirma. In October of the same year, Zhirinovsky was arrested by local authorities for promoting communist ideology: he presented one Turk with a badge "Soviet circus - 50 years", which depicted Lenin, a sickle and a hammer. After the proceedings, Zhirinovsky was released.

According to some reports, for the first presidential campaign of Zhirinovsky in 1991, the administration of the Central Committee of the CPSU allocated three million rubles, which the vice-presidential candidate businessman Andrey Zavidia concealed from Zhirinovsky.

In 1994, the Chernogolovsky distillery began to produce Zhirinovsky vodka. For 7 years, 30 million bottles of vodka were produced and sold.

In April 1994, Zhirinovsky, together with the guards, beat the deputy Vladimir Borzyuk, who announced his withdrawal from the Liberal Democratic Party the day before.

In September 1995, Zhirinovsky pulled him by the hair and began to choke the deputy Evgenia Tishkovskaya, which got into a fight of deputies Nikolai Lysenko and Gleb Yakunina, and hit his hand on the face of the deputy Nina Volkova.

In June 1995, on the transfer Alexandra Lyubimova"One on one" live on ORT Zhirinovsky splashed juice on his opponent - the governor of the Nizhny Novgorod region, who offered to cure the leader of the Liberal Democratic Party of syphilis.

In January 2000, Zhirinovsky was nominated as a candidate for the presidency of Russia, but the CEC refused to register him due to the provision of false information about his property. In February 2000, Zhirinovsky appealed to the Supreme Court with a complaint about the actions of the CEC, and only on March 5, 2000, the cassation board of the Supreme Court ordered the CEC to register him as a candidate for the presidency of the country.

Zhirinovsky has long been known as a friend of the President of Iraq Saddam Hussein and repeatedly visited the country with friendly visits. According to experts, Zhirinovsky participated in negotiations on deals with Iraqi oil as an intermediary for the Russian authorities and business representatives. During NATO statements about the operation against Hussein, he recorded a scandalous video message to the US President George Bush.

In 2006, Zhirinovsky supported a PACE resolution condemning "the crimes of totalitarian communist regimes." He was the only member of the Russian delegation who supported this resolution. At the same time, Zhirinovsky called on PACE to arrest who participated in the session.

In 2006, in honor of the sixtieth anniversary of Vladimir Volfovich, Altervest produced ice cream under the Zhirik trademark. In Penza and the Penza region, the company "Ice House" produced ice cream "Zhirinovsky in chocolate".

In September 2008, the court ordered Zhirinovsky to pay 30,000 rubles to a representative of the "Democratic Party of Russia" Nikolai Gotse, whom the leader of the Liberal Democratic Party insulted and beat up during the debates that took place during the presidential campaign.

In December 2008, during the program "To the Barrier" on NTV, Zhirinovsky almost got into a fight with one of the leaders of the Just Cause party. Boris Nadezhdin, after which "Just Cause" turned to the head of the Investigative Committee under the Prosecutor's Office of the Russian Federation, Alexander Bastrykin, with a request to initiate a criminal case against Zhirinovsky on charges of hooliganism.

In October 2009, during a meeting of party leaders with the President Dmitry Medvedev Zhirinovsky accused the Moscow authorities of corruption and demanded the resignation of the mayor of Moscow. In response, the mayor filed a lawsuit for the protection of honor and dignity against Zhirinovsky and the VGTRK television company that transmitted his words. In April 2010, at a meeting of the State Duma, Zhirinovsky handed over to the Prime Minister Vladimir Putin folder with compromising information on Luzhkov.

In 2009, the income of the leader of the Liberal Democratic Party amounted to almost 2.5 million rubles, and Zhirinovsky had one apartment for free use. However, it turned out that during the same period his wife received more than nine million rubles, eleven and a half plots, two residential buildings and three houses, the construction of which was not completed, eight apartments, eight summer cottages and two non-residential premises, as well as five cars.

In September 2011, the leader of the Just Russia faction in the State Duma filed a lawsuit against the politician and the VGTRK television company, for Zhirinovsky's statements on the Rossiya TV channel. Zhirinovsky claimed that Mironov "provided seats in the Federation Council for bribes." The Savelovsky Court of Moscow dismissed the claim, considering that the fact of dissemination of defamatory information was not proven by the plaintiff.

In April 2012, the Chairman of the Accounts Chamber Sergei Stepashin filed a claim for 10 million rubles in compensation for Zhirinovsky's statements discrediting his honor and dignity during a meeting with students of the Shchukin Theater Institute.

On October 24, 2013, on the air of the TV show "Duel" on the Russia-1 channel, Zhirinovsky stated that " population growth in the Caucasus must be controlled by imposing a fine for the birth of more than two children, and if the population of the region does not want this, then the Caucasus should be surrounded by barbed wire". Party Chairman "Apple" sent an appeal to the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation with a demand to initiate a criminal case against Zhirinovsky under the article on inciting hatred or enmity and humiliation of human dignity. In November Vladimir Putin at a personal meeting, he called on Zhirinovsky to restrain himself in public speaking.

May 15, 2013 Parliament Kyrgyzstan voted for declaring Zhirinovsky persona non grata in Kyrgyzstan. Earlier, Zhirinovsky proposed that Kyrgyzstan give Russia the Issyk-Kul Lake in exchange for forgiveness of a $500 million debt to the Russian Federation.

On April 18, 2014, Zhirinovsky insulted a pregnant journalist of the Rossiya Segodnya agency in the State Duma building. After the scandal that broke out and numerous critical statements against Zhirinovsky, the LDPR leader issued a public apology.

Meanwhile, some political analysts believe that only the person who is trusted by the current president of the state can become the president of our country today.

A race of political ambitions has started in Russia. Following the frank and unbroken oppositionist Grigory Yavlinsky, the parliamentary liberal Vladimir Zhirinovsky also announced his desire to participate in the next presidential elections in Russia. The "systemic" politician stated this on the air of "Echo of Moscow".

The subsequent elections each time demonstrated the stable nominal success of the creator and head of the Liberal Democratic Party in 2008 and 2012.

The political fate of the founder of the party "" Grigory Yavlinsky, who announced his intention to run for the election of the leader of the state in 2018, is noticeably more complicated. This politician of the democratic "call" fought for the presidency twice - in 1996 and in 2000. His third attempt was a frank fiasco - the authorities did not register Yavlinsky as a candidate due to the allegedly “impassable” number of marriages in the so-called signature lists.

In 1996, in the midst of the presidential election campaign, the adopted eldest son from the first marriage of Yavlinsky's wife, Mikhail, was the victim of cruel political blackmail. A 24-year-old young man was abducted by unknown persons, and Grigory Yavlinsky received a package, in which the severed finger of Mikhail's hand was wrapped in a note: "If you don't leave politics, we'll cut off your son's head." The son was released, and the doctors performed a successful recovery operation. In the interests of security, the sons of the oppositionist Yavlinsky were forced to move to.

Reportedly, the issue of nominating Grigory Yavlinsky for the 2108 elections should be finally resolved at the next Yabloko congress. As the press service of the opposition organization reports, "the situation has developed in such a way that without creating an alternative to Vladimir Putin, a negative, and possibly catastrophic, development of events is almost inevitable ... And only our party has such a serious opportunity to create an alternative today." The opposition must be the opposition and it is their right to think so.

Recall that the current President of Russia Vladimir Putin was elected to this post in 2000. He was re-elected in 2004 and in 2012. From 2008 to 2012 he headed the state.

Perhaps, to say that Vladimir Zhirinovsky is the brightest and most outstanding personality in the Russian political arena is to say nothing. This man, thanks to his statement, has long become famous far beyond the borders of Russia and the CIS.

Vladimir Volfovich has not been honored with any nicknames and titles throughout his entire political career: from an inadequate clown to a gray eminence. Some believe that he is saying impossible nonsense and absurd things, thus trying to draw attention to his LDPR party. Others, on the contrary, believe that not everything is so simple, and in fact, the government of the country speaks through the mouth of Zhirinovsky, since the top leadership cannot afford to express many things directly. But Vladimir Zhirinovsky can. But such questions are of interest to people close to the circles of power or interested in politics.

Ordinary spectators who witness bright performances, as a rule, are interested in completely different questions. Their attention is occupied by the politician's personal life, many are concerned about the question of who his wife is and how they live, what Zhirinovsky's children do and how their fate turned out.

Brawler's wife

Watching the speeches of the leader of the Liberal Democratic Party on TV, one sometimes wonders how one can live with such a loud person who loves to raise his voice and speak sharply in everyday life and how he can be kept close by every day. Vladimir Volfovich, at first glance, can give the impression of a quick-tempered and slightly unbalanced man. But there was a woman who was able to go hand in hand with him for decades. This is the only official wife of Zhirinovsky - Galina Lebedeva.

Their marriage and relationship with a stretch can be called easy and cloudless, but, despite any adversity, Galina has remained a faithful companion and ally of her husband for many years.

The history of dating and creating a family

This couple met at a fairly young age, when they were both in a summer holiday camp. They say that Galina immediately interested Vladimir. She was quite an interesting slender brunette, a student of the biological faculty of Moscow State University. For almost three years, there were just friendly relations between young people, while all the time Zhirinovsky courted Galina very gallantly. Three years after their first meeting, in 1970, Vladimir made a marriage proposal to the girl, which she accepted. They played their wedding in 1971. And exactly one year later, in 1972, the Zhirinovsky family replenished - their son Igor was born.

Non-standard marriage

Relations in this married couple can hardly be called ideal exemplary, but, despite all the difficulties, the spouses have been living together for almost 45 years. In their life together there was a period of divorce, and this happened in 1978. Vladimir and Galina got back together in 1985, and since then they have never parted. Despite the fact that the couple did not officially formalize their relationship again, on the eve of their silver wedding, as proof of warm feelings and mutual devotion, they got married in the church.

Doubtful divorce

It would seem that today you will not surprise anyone with a civil marriage. People who love each other do not have to prove their feelings in the registry office. But in the case of Vladimir Zhirinovsky and Galina Lebedeva, things are not so simple.

At a certain period of time, the press discussed the topic of the fact that it is beneficial for Vladimir Volfovich to live with his wife unofficially, since then he may not enter her income in his family's declaration. And since Zhirinovsky's wife is by no means a simple woman, then this state of affairs is only to their advantage.

A true friend is not a simple biologist

Lebedev is a biologist by profession, works at the Institute of Virology of the Russian Academy of Medical Sciences and has a Ph.D. She studies the problems of HIV infection. But, despite the relatively modest income of a researcher, Galina is the owner of several country residences, Moscow apartments and seven expensive cars.

Lebedeva is also engaged in active social activities. She became the founder of the LDPR Women's Association, which solves various humanitarian issues.

and grandchildren

In a marriage with Galina, the politician had one son - Igor Lebedev. Zhirinovsky and his wife at one time gave the boy his mother's surname on purpose, so that the shadow of his father would not interfere with his life. Today, Vladimir Volfovich is proud of his offspring, because, as an adult, he fully supported the ideas of his father and continued his work.

Just like his father, Igor was attracted to jurisprudence. In 1996, he quite successfully graduated from the law academy in Moscow. Lebedev has been a member for a long time and in a few years he made a good political career:

  • was the State Duma;
  • occupied the position of an expert-specialist of the apparatus of the LDPR faction;
  • was appointed Advisor to the Minister of Labor of the Russian Federation;
  • was elected to the State Duma in 1999, 2003, 2007, 2001.

Based on such a track record, it can be concluded that Igor Vladimirovich's political career has developed quite successfully, however, just like his personal life.

Lebedev's wife's name is Lyudmila, and not too much information is known about her. In his interviews, Igor does not like to answer questions about his wife, in all likelihood, protecting her from the annoying attention of the press. It is only known that young people have known each other almost since childhood. In 1998, their twin sons were born: Alexander and Sergey. Igor says that he really wanted to name one of them in honor of his father - Vladimir, but Zhirinovsky dissuaded him from this idea. To date, both brothers are students of a prestigious boarding house at Moscow State University.

Their grandfather admits that, unfortunately, he communicates with his grandchildren very rarely, at best, once a month, because he does not have enough time for everything.

In one of the interviews, he confirmed that the grandfather meets his grandchildren really very rarely, at best, he congratulates them on the phone on their birthday. Basically, grandmothers pay attention to Alexander and Sergey, who have much more free time than Vladimir Volfovich. But there are other children of Zhirinovsky, which are worth talking about.

A relative from Ossetia

Despite the seemingly not quite standard, but understandable to many, the married life of a politician, it turned out that not all Zhirinovsky's children were born with his official wife Galina. And for the first time this became known in 1995. It was then that Vladimir brought a 9-year-old child to one of the local channels and told everyone that this was his son. The boy's name was Oleg, and the politician publicly admitted that he was his own father.

The story of the birth of the boy became known to the general public a little later. It turned out that Zhirinovsky met Oleg's mother, Ossetian Zhanna Gazdarova, in Cuba, where the woman worked at that time. Zhanna was a very bright and beautiful Caucasian girl. A stormy and passionate romance almost immediately began between her and the politician.

Soon she returned to Moscow, where Oleg was born. Zhanna decided to send him to be raised by her mother, who lived in the small village of Chikola in North Ossetia. It was there that Oleg's entire childhood passed, where his grandmother, Rahimat Kardanova, took care of his full upbringing.

How the father introduced his son to the whole country

At the age of 9, he met his own father. It is not known how Galina Lebedeva took this news, but the politician himself publicly recognized his son. And he did it publicly, bringing the boy with him to record the broadcast of one of the central TV channels. After leaving school, Oleg moved to Moscow to his mother. He entered Moscow State University and successfully completed his studies.

Son's wedding, which took place without the presence of his father

The press again sharply remembered and spoke about the illegitimate son of a State Duma deputy when Oleg Gazdarov was 26 years old. It was at this age that he decided to get married. His chosen one was an Ossetian - Madina Batyrova, whom he met at Moscow State University. The wedding attracted the attention of journalists, as it was celebrated on a special scale. The celebration took place in the Ossetian city of Digor. The most prestigious restaurant "Alcor" was reserved for the celebration, the employees of which admit that they have not seen such a luxurious event in the entire history of the establishment. According to the information provided at various forums, about 800 guests attended the celebration. The cost of the bride's dress was estimated at about 200 thousand rubles. There are also rumors that the rings for the young were not purchased anywhere, but from Tiffany. The rite of redemption of the bride took place without undue stinginess on the part of the groom. In general, everything spoke of luxury and the complete prosperity of the newlyweds.

It was no secret to anyone that Vladimir Volfovich took over all the expenses for organizing the celebration. Naturally, all the gathered relatives, and, of course, the newlyweds themselves, were very much looking forward to the arrival of the famous father of the groom. But the meeting never happened. Given the level of daily workload of Zhirinovsky, it is quite possible to assume that he really did not have time to attend this event, but it is quite possible that he did not consider it necessary to be there, believing that his father's duty was fully paid by paying all expenses.

Mysterious daughter Anastasia

When wondering how many children Vladimir Zhirinovsky has, one should not think that everything was limited to two recognized sons. In his numerous interviews, Vladimir has repeatedly said that he also has an illegitimate daughter. Unfortunately, it is very difficult to find detailed information about this girl in open sources. Perhaps she herself does not want to advertise her status. From the words of Zhirinovsky himself, it is only known that her name is Anastasia. In the birth certificate, her patronymic is listed in accordance with the biological father, that is, Vladimirovna. And the name of the daughter of Zhirinovsky is mother's - Petrova.

The history of Nastya's birth is not advertised in detail. At the same time, Vladimir Volfovich says that if Russian laws allowed having several wives, he would have formalized relations with Nastya's mother long ago, and Zhirinovsky's daughter herself would have bore his last name for a long time.

Interesting bills of a charismatic politician

During a certain period of time, Vladimir Volfovich actively promoted one bill in the State Duma. He was supposed to allow Russian men to have several official wives and write down all the children born in these relationships. Of course, many immediately associated this with the fact that not all of Zhirinovsky's children were born in a legal marriage.

One can relate to his political activities as a liberal democrat in different ways, one can not like his often eccentric speeches and scandalous statements, but, on the contrary, one can watch with great interest. But regardless of all factors, Vladimir Volfovich should be given undoubted credit in one thing - he never abandoned his children born out of wedlock with Galina Lebedeva. It is a pity that the general public, most likely, will never know how the official family of Zhirinovsky actually relates to such public confessions of the father and spouse.
