The new banking has been operating since January of this year, gradually expanding the range of functions and products. At first, only entrepreneurs could open an account, but since March the system has become available to legal entities. The launch was not widely advertised until the testing phase of processes and operations was completed.

Around the same time as the launch of the web version, mobile applications for iOS and Android appeared. In the application, you can register in the system and open a bank account without visiting branches. In it you can view account balances and movements, create and confirm payments, control deposits, etc. Authorization in the application is possible through a code, Touch ID and Face ID.

In TAS24 Business you can connect to business services from partner companies: virtual mobile PBX, IP telephony, Bitrix24, the InCust loyalty system, the WebPush system from Kyivstar and the SkyService POS accounting system. “We work on behalf of TASCOMBANK. At the same time, initially understanding that we needed new products and processes for providing them, adapted specifically for online, we did not take the bank’s existing product line and service processes, but essentially re-created them, with new properties and requirements,” explained the Deputy Chairman of the Board TASKOMBANK Alexander Nikolenko, who manages the TAS24 Business and TAS Market projects.

Until April 2017, Alexander Nikolenko was in charge of servicing small and medium-sized businesses at PrivatBank (SME Business Department). Accordingly, his team at TAS24 Business consists mainly of “Privat members” - employees whom he led at PrivatBank over the past 5 years - deputies and representatives of the main product areas, as well as part of the Privat24 for Business developers.

“We started with 15 exclusively “Privat” employees, half of whom were IT specialists. This “business/IT” proportion has remained to this day, but now there are already 50 of us at the head office - during the year new managers and developers joined us, including from Privat. During the period of my leadership of SME, we had to “patch it up” rather than radically remodel it - there was almost no time or resource left for this. Nevertheless, a new version was developed in parallel and, probably, continues to be developed after my departure. But I haven't seen any significant changes there over the past year. Therefore, we tried to put everything that we knew about customer experience and the need for modifications in existing solutions on the market into a new Internet banking system here, from scratch,” says Nikolenko.

So in TAS24 Business, as in Monobank, the user can independently register with the client bank and open an account, and only then the bank activates this account: identifies the client and performs other mandatory procedures. Activation of the account and issuance of a business card linked to it is carried out without the need to visit the branch - all information is collected through an electronic form at the client bank itself in 5 minutes. And for a one-time signing of documents, a bank representative is sent to the client’s office or any place convenient for him.

“Absolutely all our products and services are issued electronically - you can become our client from anywhere in Ukraine. In other banks, with rare exceptions, you first need to visit a branch, open an account, and only then register with the client bank, which most often also requires an in-person visit to the bank branch. This whole procedure lasts for days and even weeks. Need any more products? Go to the department again,” Nikolenko comments.

According to TAS24 Business, compared to PrivatBank and other banks, the service is on average 20-25% cheaper. This was achieved by simplifying the tariff schedule - TAS removed hidden additional fees, such as for cash withdrawals, which for competitors may vary depending on the situation.

“If we write 0.75% for withdrawing your own funds in Ukraine, then it is 0.75% everywhere - even at an ATM, at a cash desk, at your own bank, at least in another, regardless of the amount. Other banks still usually separate withdrawal methods, divide them into “friends or foes” and add to the percentage “minimum” or “+ N UAH / dollar,” “from/to” - and so on up to a dozen variations,” says Nikolenko.
