How can you learn to show tricks. How to learn to do simple magic tricks

We bring to your attention 10 amazing magic tricks, experiments, or science shows that you can do with your own hands at home.
At your child's birthday party, weekend or vacation, make the most of your time and become the center of attention of many eyes! 🙂

An experienced organizer of scientific shows helped us in preparing the post - Professor Nicolas. He explained the principles behind a particular focus.

1 - Lava Lamp

1. Surely many of you have seen a lamp that has a liquid inside that imitates hot lava. Looks magical.

2. In sunflower oil water is poured and food coloring (red or blue) is added.

3. After that, we add effervescent aspirin to the vessel and observe a striking effect.

4. During the reaction, colored water rises and falls through the oil without mixing with it. And if you turn off the light and turn on the flashlight, the "real magic" will begin.

: “Water and oil have different densities, and also have the property of not mixing, no matter how we shake the bottle. When we add inside the bottle effervescent tablets, they, dissolving in water, begin to release carbon dioxide and set the liquid in motion.

Want to put on a real science show? More experiences can be found in the book "Experiments of Professor Nicolas".

2 - Experience with soda

5. Surely at home or in a nearby store there are several cans of soda for the holiday. Before you drink them, ask the guys the question: “What happens if you submerge soda cans in water?”
Drown? Will they swim? Depends on the soda.
Invite the children to guess in advance what will happen to a particular jar and conduct an experiment.

4 - soapy volcano

How to make a small volcano erupt at home?

6 - Water in the sieve

We continue to study magical properties water and surrounding objects. Ask someone present to put on a bandage and pour water through it. As we can see, it passes through the holes in the bandage without any difficulty.
Bet with others that you can make it so that water will not pass through the bandage without any additional tricks.

Commentary by Professor Nicolas: “Due to such a property of water as surface tension, water molecules want to be together all the time and it is not so easy to separate them (they are such wonderful girlfriends!). And if the size of the holes is small (as in our case), then the film does not tear even under the weight of water!”

7 - Diving bell

And to secure your honorary title of Water Mage and Master of the Elements, promise that you can deliver paper to the bottom of any ocean (or bath or even a basin) without soaking it.

26. We fold the sheet, put it in a glass so that it rests against its walls and does not slide down. Immerse the leaf in an inverted glass to the bottom of the tank.

27. Paper stays dry - water can't get to it! After you pull out the sheet - let the audience make sure that it is really dry.

Commentary by Professor Nicolas: “If you take a glass with a piece of paper inside and look closely at it, it seems that there is nothing but paper, but this is not so, there is air in it.
When we turn the glass upside down and lower it into the water, the air keeps the water from getting close to the paper, which is why it stays dry.

After reading the article, you will be able to do simple, but very funny magic tricks.

Where do we start?

It is especially useful to learn a few tricks for shy, insecure kids. After all, in order to show the prepared trick, you need to go, if not on stage, then at least to the center of the room, where the whole family or friends of the baby gathered for the performance. A storm of applause and the surprise of friends will be the best cure for low self-esteem.

First of all, explain to your daughter or son that in order for the focus to turn out, you need to practice properly. Very often children want everything at once. They get frustrated if they don't succeed after several attempts. Remind your child that you can’t even pull a fish out of the pond without difficulty. With your help, a novice magician will cope with the inevitable difficulties, and this will help him in the future to bring the work he has begun to the end, develop a sense of purpose.

Many magic tricks require making props. For 5-6 year olds, this will be a great creative activity. And where the child cannot cope on his own, his mother or grandmother will help him. Here the most ordinary things will be used: strings, coins, cardboard boxes, plastic jars of sour cream and of course colored paper, paints, pencils.

Where can I find descriptions of tricks? In children's magazines and books. There is not so much literature like this, but it is not difficult to find it. After all, the door to magic is closed, but not locked. Try to interest the young magician in books on the history of the art of illusion, tell him about the great magicians of the past and present. This will give the child new knowledge and teach a more serious, comprehensive attitude to the topic of interest. Tell your child that, for example, David Copperfield read all the magic literature he could find since childhood, and this helped him become the greatest magician in the world.

Proceed according to the principle “from simple to complex”. If the baby succeeds well in his very first trick in his life, then he will feel more confident in the future. Choose a simple, well-understood trick, take it apart with your baby. When the child starts to succeed, let him rehearse in front of the mirror. So he can understand what the audience will see and correct possible errors.

Practice together what and how your magician will say during the performance of the trick. Explain to him that for an artist it is very important how he behaves on stage. Even the most amazing "magic" will be boring if the "wizard" silently waves his wand. It is quite another thing when an artist smiles and jokes with the audience. So gradually the child will learn not only to speak naturally during the performance, this will contribute to the development of a sense of humor. And also tell the kid that it is very important never to reveal the secret of the trick, no matter how his friends ask him about it. Otherwise, the sense of magic will be destroyed.

The easiest tricks

Here are some simple tricks to get you started.

Spoon glued to the nose

Focus spoon glued to the nose is suitable for when you drink sweet coffee or compote, stirring it with a light teaspoon. To demonstrate the trick, remove the spoon from the cup. Turn the spoon upside down and place the concave side against your nose. Lightly press the outside of the spoon with your fingers. After you remove your hand, the spoon will hang on the nose, as if it was glued. The secret of the focus is simple. You really glued the spoon with the help of a sweet drink remaining on it while stirring. Even with small acting skills, a few seconds are enough to convince the audience of this trick of the unusual property of your spoon.

Coins in a book

We put six coins on the page of the big book. We close the book, we say the magic words "crex-pex-fex." Now we open the book, tilt it so that the coins slip into the hand of one of the spectators. We count them and find that there are ten coins! The secret of the focus is simple. Before starting the performance, you need to put four coins in the spine of an open book and check that they can slip out unnoticed when you tilt the book, but not fall out with any movement.

Miraculous appearance of a tie

The next simple trick is a trick joke. The little magician comes out to the audience and asks what important detail is missing from his costume. Oops, he forgot to wear a tie! It's okay, because the wizard can do anything. The child waves a magic wand - and the bow tie is in its place! Where did he come from? And the whole point, of course, is in special training.

You need to take a thin rubber band and attach one end to a tie. Then we clamp the tie with an elastic band under the arm so that the audience cannot see it. We will pass the free end of the elastic band through the loop on the shirt collar, lower it under the shirt to the waist and firmly fasten it there. Now you need to take a magic wand in your hand. When the baby waves it, the elastic will draw the tie to the collar.

Three bottle caps

Give three spectators each a lemonade cap, two of which are plain white (colorless) and one is yellow. Offer to hide the lids in a box with three compartments so that you can’t see which one is, and try to guess which compartment contains the lid, for example, the yellow one.

The box is made up of four outer cases and three inner drawers. matchboxes. When the lids are laid out, turn to the audience, take the box from them and, after a second of reflection, confidently indicate where the hidden lid is hidden.

The secret of the trick: In the yellow lid, put a lead circle equal in diameter to the lid under the seal in advance. Give the caps to the audience one at a time so they don't have a chance to compare them. When you get the box in your hand, discreetly take it with your fingertips by the middle. The overweight of one side will immediately show you the desired compartment. If the box remains in balance, then the desired cover is in the center).

mind reading

A young magician can surprise the audience with the ability to read minds. The child takes a book from the shelf as if at random and asks the audience to name any page number. Then he leaves the room, and the assistant, for example, mother, at this time reads aloud the top line on the selected page.

The kid returns to the room and asks the audience to think about the line they heard. Then, pretending to read minds, he pronounces it. This trick is easy for a kid who can read. The whole secret lies in the fact that exactly the same book is hidden behind the door. When the child leaves the room, he simply reads and memorizes the top line on the correct page.

Balloon and spoke

The young magician holds an inflated balloon in his hands. Then he takes a long needle, pierces the ball through, but the magic ball remains intact. To demonstrate to the audience that the ball is the most ordinary, the child gently pierces it with a needle. The ball bursts.

How is this possible? Help your son or daughter prepare the needle for this trick. It should be long, thin, well-pointed and carefully polished, without nicks. Now we stick a piece of adhesive tape on the ball on both sides - and the props are ready. Only first you need to practice piercing the ball exactly in the places “reinforced” with adhesive tape quickly and accurately. If you accidentally hit the thin, stretched rubber of the ball with a knitting needle, it will immediately burst. And nothing that the kid will spoil more than a dozen balls. But then he will be able to surprise guests at a birthday party or friends in kindergarten mysterious trick.

magic rice

And now we will show the audience the magic rice. Your magician fills a plastic margarine jar to the brim with dry rice. Then he covers it with exactly the same jar upside down, turns the jars on their sides, pressing them tightly against each other, and wears them around all four corners of the room, saying that rice is magically transferred to the north, south, west and east. Our rice has traveled the world.

It may not have doubled in taste, but it has doubled in size. We put the jars on a tray, remove the top one ... The container is full of rice, but the extra one came from somewhere! It scattered all over the tray, it became twice as much! But before, rice was easily placed in a jar, everyone saw it. For this trick, we need to pre-conjure over plastic jars. We need two completely identical containers.

Take the lid from the jar, carefully cut off the edge of it. Lubricate the edge of the lid with any universal glue and paste it inside one of the cans approximately in the middle. Now the volume of the can has halved. Let the kid decorate both jars so that they look exactly the same.

To do this, they can be pasted over with colored paper and shiny stars. To make the trick work, pour rice into a regular jar and cover it with the one that we specially prepared by gluing the lid inside. Now it only remains to remember an important detail at the end of the trick: after the “travel around the world”, the jar with the glued lid should be at the bottom.

Hand binding

For the successful implementation of the next focus, the baby will have to practice a little.

We will need a rope about 1 m long, a thin metal (or plastic) bracelet in the form of a ring, into which the child’s hand can easily pass, and a large scarf. Two assistants tightly tie the hands of the "wizard" with the ends of the rope. The child takes the bracelet in one hand and hides both hands under the handkerchief, which is held by the ends of the assistants. After a few seconds, the assistants remove the handkerchief, and the artist raises his hands up and shows a bracelet hanging on a rope. Of course, here the solution is very simple. After all, there is a second, exactly the same bracelet. The child first puts it on his hand and covers it with a sleeve of a worn shirt or sweater. In the meantime, the assistants hold the handkerchief, imperceptibly hides the bracelet in his pocket, and shifts it hidden under the sleeve down onto the rope. That's the whole secret!

Amazing Pencil

Fold the banknote lengthwise in half and hold horizontally. Move a pencil under it. Viewers will see how he, having pierced the paper, leaned out from the other side. Without pulling out the pencil, turn the bill vertically. Holding it with one hand on top, with the other, sharply lower the pencil down. It will easily pass through the paper, and the paper... will be safe and sound!

The secret of the trick: make a cut 4 cm long in the middle part of the pencil. Showing the trick, move the pencil from the opposite side of the bill from the audience so that half of the bill enters the cut. Unfold the other half of the bill. Seeing a tongue-like part of a pencil, viewers will mistake it for a whole pencil. It remains only to sharply lower the pencil down and release the bill from the cut.

Instant orange-to-apple transformation

The young wizard shows an orange to everyone, covers it with a bright scarf, casts magic spells, pulls off the scarf. And on the palm of your hand is an apple! Focus secret. Carefully remove the peel from the orange beforehand. Then place the apple (it should be slightly smaller than the orange) in this peel. When showing, the child, tightly holding an apple in an orange peel, shows everyone what is in his hand. Then, with a deft movement, he removes the handkerchief from the apple along with the peel.

Candies from confetti

Just imagine: a young magician covers a paper cup with confetti with a handkerchief, takes off the handkerchief, and instead of confetti in a candy cup. The real, sweet and delicious. Eat up, friends! And no matter how fantastic it may sound, but with the necessary props, it is not difficult to make such a trick. So, we need a large opaque bowl or a wide vase filled to the middle with confetti (we buy several bags and pour into the bowl), two completely identical paper or plastic cups (one with a lid), candies in candy wrappers, a handkerchief. Before we start training, let's do a little magic over the glass.

The one with the lid, fill it with sweets, close the lid, grease it thickly with glue and cover with confetti. It is better to stick confetti in several layers so that they reliably disguise the lid. If there is no ready-made protrusion on the side of the cover, we glue a piece of strong fishing line to it with adhesive tape so that it does not catch the eye, but at the same time it was easy to feel and grab it with your fingers. Cups with the baby can be decorated with stickers. Just make sure that they look absolutely identical (for this, use two sheets of identical stickers).

After all this, we bury the glass in a bowl of confetti so that it is not visible. Preparation is over. Let's move on to focus. The magician shows the audience a bowl of confetti and tells them that he can turn the confetti into candy. Don't believe? Now!

He takes an empty cup, shows it to the audience, scoops them up with confetti from a vase and pours it back from a sufficiently high height, demonstrating to the audience that all this is ordinary things, there is no secret in them. Scoop up confetti carefully so as not to “light up” the hidden glass. Then the young magician scoops up the confetti again, but at the same time quietly leaves an empty glass under a layer of colored circles, and pulls out a glass with a "secret". This is the first point that needs to be worked out properly. Spectators should not suspect anything.

The "secret" cup rises above the bowl and is shown to the audience, the remnants of confetti pour from it, and no one suspects the substitution. The magician shakes off excess confetti (leaving only glued on), covers the glass with a handkerchief and "conjures" over it, saying something like: One, two, three, Become a confetti candy!

And he himself gropes for a prepared loop of fishing line through the handkerchief and pulls the handkerchief from the glass along with the lid. This is the second point that requires training. You need to learn how to quickly grab the loop and remove the scarf so that the cover under it is not noticeable. After that, the young magician puts the handkerchief aside, and shows a glass full of sweets to the surprised spectators. Well, what do magic candies taste like?

bouncing coin

This is a cute home trick, simple and effective. Place a small coin on the table and have someone pick it up without touching the table or the coin. Of course, even if someone volunteers to do this, they still won't be able to.

The secret of the trick: just keep your hand close to the coin and blow hard on it from a distance of 5 centimeters. The air compressed by your breath will lift the coin and toss it into your hand. It doesn’t work right away, but after a few exercises, you can deftly do this trick: you blew and here is a coin in your hand!

Endless thread

The magician notices a white thread on his jacket, near the lapel, and tries several times to brush it off. But the thread does not "brush". The magician takes the end of it and pulls it down. The thread starts to pull out of the jacket. The more it stretches out, the more surprised the magician is. And the length of the thread is several tens of meters! Focus mechanics: a white thread from a reel is wound on a short colored pencil (as much as it is wound), placed in a side inner pocket and its tail (1-2 cm) is pulled with a needle through the fabric of the jacket to the outside. The pencil is needed in order to “leave no traces” in the pocket if one of the spectators asks the magician to show the pocket; a pencil is not a reel, it will not help solve this trick.

Deceiver water

If for a large copper coin put a transparent glass, then the coin will be clearly visible through its walls. Pour water into the glass - the coin will "disappear" (of course, if you do not look into the glass from above). Based on this optical effect, you can come up with a number. Take a coin and pre-glue it to the bottom of the glass. The child shows the audience a glass of water. There is nothing in it. Lower the glass down and hold it so that the audience looks at it from above - a coin has appeared in the glass!

obedient button

Pour soda into a glass. The young magician takes a small button and puts it into the glass. The button will be at the bottom. Immediately or a little later, he moves his hand over the glass and says: “Button, to me!” The button is slowly lifted up. Again he runs his hand over the glass and says: “Button down!” She obediently descends.
The secret of the trick: when the button is at the bottom of the glass, gas bubbles gather around it and when there are a lot of them, they will lift the button. Then the bubbles will disappear and the button will drop down again. This movement will continue as long as carbon dioxide is released. But pre-practice, calculate the time before commanding the button "up" or "down".

Focus with slippers

The magician takes out a paper bundle. Unties him. He takes out a clean rug from the bundle. From all sides shows it to the audience: nothing is hidden in it. Spreads it out on the floor. Still holding the rug with his hands over the edge, he pulls off the slippers with one foot from the other and covers them with the rug. Makes "magic passes" in the air with his hands. Raises the doormat and points to the "out of nowhere" shoes that have appeared. Sending a kiss to the audience. Solemnly bows in all directions. And he does not notice that his slippers “by themselves” (they are pulled by the threads) are rapidly “leaving” the stage. Having finished bowing, the clown looks for his slippers with his eyes. They are nowhere! Covering his legs with a rug, he minces from the stage in embarrassment. And while still trying to smile.

Blow out the candle

Blowing out a candle - nothing is easier, but try blowing it out through a wide funnel, blowing into it through the narrow end, or through a paper tube rolled up. If you have a candle just in front of the middle of the tube, blowing out the candle is completely impossible. The flame, despite all efforts, is still standing and does not even waver. Try to place the funnel so that it is at the edge of it, and the flame will immediately go out. This happens because the jets of air coming out of the mouth pass through the narrow part of the funnel and disperse in its wide part, then go along the walls of the funnel and bypass the flame of the candle. If the flame is flush with the edge of the funnel, then the same air stream blows it out. This trick will seem interesting and strange to the audience.

Glass on paper

Place two glasses on the table at some distance from one another (the glasses should not be heavy). Give the audience a sheet of paper and invite the third glass to be placed on this paper placed on the glasses. No one will believe that a thin sheet of paper can withstand the weight of a glass placed on it. To do this trick, you need to fold a sheet of paper like an accordion, and the glass will stand.

Guessing the date of birth

This trick can be carried out with the audience by the host of the holiday. He addresses the audience: “Do you want me to know the date of birth of each of you? Have someone come to me... Please multiply by 2 the date you were born. Add 5 to the "result, and multiply this amount by 50. Now add the ordinal number of the month when you were born and name the resulting number." Having learned this number, the presenter immediately names the day and month of birth. Secret of the trick: from the number named by the viewer you need to subtract 250. You get a three-digit or four-digit number, in which one or two first digits are the birthday, and the last two are the month.

Tea transformation

In one glass - "milk" (shaken in water potato starch). In another glass - "tea" (a few drops of iodine in half a glass of water). Liquid from one glass is poured into another and "ink" is obtained. They can even write on paper. Spectators can try their drawing skills by taking a brush and drawing something on a blank piece of paper or cardboard.

living water

On a blank piece of paper, the kid draws the outline of a flower with a simple pencil, then pours it with water. And then the plant gradually blooms (becomes colored).
The secret of the trick: take white paper, put a cardboard flower stencil on it. Fill the entire volume of the flower with bright red aniline powder, temporarily covering the rest of it. cover the leaf and stem with green aniline powder. Without removing the stencil, carefully blow everything off the paper. In places where the powder was, the smallest particles of paint will remain invisible. FROM reverse side sheet, where the child will then draw a flower, mark the outline with barely noticeable dots. When showing, water should be poured slowly, from the side of the stem. The paper will get wet from the water, and the paint will gradually color the flower through it!

magic vase

And you have probably seen this trick more than once. The magician takes a vessel with a narrow neck, lowers the end of the rope into it, first showing the audience that the rope “enters and exits” freely. Then he turns the vessel upside down, and the rope continues to hang, held in the vessel by some mysterious force. The magician takes the rope with his hands, turns the vase over to its normal position, releases it, and it swings on the rope like a pendulum. What is this strange force that tied the rope and the vase so tightly?

Finally, the magician utters a spell, the “power” releases the rope, and it freely, without effort, comes out of the neck of the vessel. What? Is there a secret in the vase? Please see for yourself and see for yourself, twirl in your hands: just a vase and just a rope, nothing special!

And the secret of this trick is very simple. And the kid will be fine with it. Only here, too, he cannot do without the help of mom or dad, because our vessel must first be prepared. We, of course, deceived our viewers that there is no secret. It is, as in any focus. So, as a magic vessel, it is convenient to use a glass ketchup bottle with a narrow neck or any other suitable utensil. The rope needs to be thick and rigid, about half a meter long or less (the child should be comfortable with it).

The diameter of the neck should be approximately twice the diameter of the rope. glass bottle make it opaque by painting it with paint (for example, acrylic) and decorating with magical patterns. Now the most important thing. You will need a small rubber ball with a diameter slightly larger than half the inner diameter of the neck. The ball can be cut from bottle cap. He descends into the bottle and stays there throughout the trick. You may need to experiment with different sizes ball so that the focus is perfect.

So what happens during focus? The young magician shows the audience a bottle and a rope, then shows that the rope freely enters the neck of the bottle and exits just as easily. After that, he lowers the rope into the bottle to the very bottom and slowly (this is important) turns the bottle upside down. The bottle should be held in one hand and the rope in the other. At the same time, the ball rolls into the neck between the rope and the wall of the bottle. Now you need to slightly pull the rope to secure the structure properly, and then slowly release it.

Akhalai mahalai! The rope does not fall. Then the magician takes the rope with his hand, slowly turns the bottle over and releases it. And now she is already swinging on a rope. The ball still keeps the rope from slipping out. To eliminate " magical power”, just push the rope deep into the bottle.

The ball will fall to the bottom, and the rope will easily come out. To heighten the effect, you can invite the audience to examine the rope and bottle for "magic" and try to repeat the trick themselves. Let someone from the audience pull the rope out of the neck. Then the magician turns the bottle over, as if showing the audience its bottom, and in the meantime he hides the ball that has rolled out of the neck in his hand. Everything, now the bottle can be given to the audience for scrupulous study. It is clear that no one can repeat the trick.

The show starts! Spectacular appearance

When your young illusionist has a few tricks well rehearsed, you can think of a real house show. Write a performance script with your child, think about the costume, lighting, musical arrangement. The costume will depend on the role that the child chooses for himself. If he wants to be a wizard, then a long, wide robe embroidered with stars will suit him. Or maybe he will represent a gnome or another fairy-tale character. Then you need to dress accordingly. And of course, do not forget about the magic wand, which can be made from an ordinary wooden stick, wrapped in foil and decorated.

To impress the audience, put on a spectacular start to your show: the Great Mage and Wizard appears in the room in the most mysterious way.

For this trick, you will need a large cardboard box (like a TV box) that can fit a child.

From it, mother, together with the baby, will make a house. Paste the box with colored paper or paint it with paint. On the one hand, we will draw or paste windows and doors, and on the other hand, we will carefully cut out a secret “door” through which the artist can climb. Separately, we will make a removable roof for our house from cardboard. We will put a table in the room, hung up to the floor with a cloth, at a short distance from it we will set up our house “facing” to the audience.

Between the table and the house we will temporarily put a roof from the house, blocking the gap. Your young Copperfield crawls under the table and quietly waits there for the right moment. Everything is ready. Spectators enter the hall. Mom, in the role of an entertainer, reports that the famous illusionist artist will appear any minute, raises the house, showing that it is empty, and puts it in its place. After that, the "artist" very carefully crawls out from under the table, under the roof into the house.

Mom raises the roof, showing that there is nothing between the house and the table, and puts the roof on the house. Now you need to say the magic words, remove the roof, and your little Mage and Wizard effectively appears from the house. Then he demonstrates his art to the audience, making sure to leave some interesting trick in case he is called for an encore.

Or maybe you will arrange a whole family performance for your guests? After all, mom or dad can also learn a few amusing tricks and perform with their baby. Ready? So, ani-beni-slave! Incredible, magical performance begins!

2. How do you make a hole in a piece of paper big enough for you to crawl through?

Here's how to do it:

Take a regular sheet of A4 paper, fold it in half lengthwise and start cutting the fringe.

After that, cut the bent parts, except for the first and last strip. When you straighten the sheet, it will "stretch" and you will be able to pass through the resulting hole.

3. How to turn water into ice when you pour it?

Here's how to do it:

Place a bottle of water in the freezer and check every few minutes to ensure that the water has not frozen but has reached the freezing point (this takes about 2 hours).

Take the bottle out of the freezer and take out a piece of ice. Put some ice and start pouring water on it - the water will start to turn into ice right before your eyes.

8. How to fly a few centimeters above the ground?

Here's how to do it:

Stand so that the children cannot see the toe of your left foot. Then slowly rise to the toe, while raising the leg that is closer to the audience (in this case, the right leg). You may need to practice in front of a mirror to get a more convincing focus.

Who doesn't love magic tricks? Everyone loves tricks - both adults and children. Because the focus is a little magic that, if desired and skillful, you can do yourself. Of course, this business is not as simple as it seems at first glance, so for starters, the tricks should be as simple as possible. But that doesn't make them less effective! We've put together magic tricks that you can show your little ones or help your child learn on their own - especially for little magicians! The most important thing in this matter is to learn the magic spell: “hocus pocus alle op!” Everything! Now everything will definitely work!

Piggy bank book

And this is not a simple piggy bank, but a magical one - there are more and more coins in it! We put five coins on the page of the book, close the book, do not forget about the spell. We open the book - ten coins already fall out of it! Everything is elementary: five coins must be hidden in advance in the spine of the book. Now the main thing is that the coins do not fall out ahead of time.

obedient tie

Even toddlers can do this trick. The young magician appears before the audience. But something is wrong with his suit. Oh yes - he forgot to wear a bow tie! But this is fixable, wave of the magic wand - hello op! - and the tie is already in place! The secret is simple: we sew a thin elastic band to the tie, and hide the tie under the armpit. We thread the other end of the elastic band into the loop from the button on the collar and stretch it under the shirt to the waist, fasten it. Now it remains to take a magic wand in your hand, wave it - the elastic band is released, and the butterfly “flies” to its place!

magic spoon

Calmly stir sweet tea or compote with a teaspoon. And suddenly - hello op! - the spoon is already hanging on our nose! Miracles! In fact, everything is simple: the spoon really sticks to the nose because of the sugar (after all, our tea was sweet, and even more so compote!). Of course, you need to glue the spoon with the concave side. Plus a little sense of humor and acting skills - a funny trick is ready!

magic cover

We distribute 3 plastic bottle caps to the audience. One of them should be different from the others in color. Let the audience, without our knowledge, hide the lids in a box with three compartments, each lid in its own (the box is made of 3 boxes glued together). We pick up a box and unmistakably determine where the cover of a different color is located! How? Very simple. In advance, you need to put a weighting agent in this lid - a circle of lead, equal in size to the bottom of the lid. At the moment of guessing, carefully take the box with the lids by the middle with your fingers - the heavy lid will slightly outweigh. If the drawer remains in balance, then the desired lid is in the middle compartment. And, of course, the caps need to be handed out to the audience one at a time so that they have no way to compare their weight.

I can read minds!

The child takes a book at random from the shelf and asks the audience to name the page number. Then he leaves the room. The magician's assistant reads the top line of the page chosen by the audience. A young magician enters - and repeats it without hesitation! He really can read minds! In fact, everything is simpler: our magician and sorcerer just knows how to read. Behind the door lies the same book as the one that the child took “at random” from the shelf. And he himself read the right top line behind the door!

rice lord

The magician is holding a plastic margarine box filled with rice. The child covers it from above with exactly the same box - bottom up. After magical manipulations and reading the spell, the box opens, and here is a miracle - there is much more rice! It doesn’t even fit in a box and spills out on the table! The secret of the trick is in a specially prepared box with which we covered our rice. She has a “double bottom” - the lid from it must be cut off and carefully glued as a bottom approximately in the middle of the box. Now the most important thing is not to confuse and at the end of the trick pour the rice into the right box, the one with the false bottom.

Sleight of hand

For this trick, we need a bracelet, a rope and a scarf. The assistant tightly ties the hands of the young magician, after which he gives him a bracelet and rips the magician's hands with a handkerchief, holding the handkerchief by the ends. After a couple of moments, the handkerchief is removed, the magician raises his hands - and the magician's bracelet is put on a rope! The thing is that there are actually two bracelets: the second one is already put on the child’s hand and hidden under the sleeve of the jacket. It remains only to quietly drop the bracelet onto the rope and hide the second bracelet!

Candy from… confetti?

For this sweet trick, you will need a wide bowl filled to the middle with confetti and a couple of paper cups, and not ordinary ones, but a secret one. Here it is, this secret: one of the cups should have a lid, we glue confetti thickly on it. Next is the matter of technology. Put the candies in a glass with a lid and bury it in a bowl with confetti. The child shows the bowl to the audience. So that everyone can see that there is no deception here, he scoops up confetti with another glass and pours them back into the bowl from a sufficiently high height. Then he scoops up the confetti again (but in fact he takes another cup, and hides the first one in the bowl), covers it with a scarf, reads a spell, takes off the scarf - in front of us is a glass filled with delicious sweets! The main thing is to carefully remove the lid along with the handkerchief - this is the second secret of our trick.

non bursting ball

We take inflated balloon and a long sharp needle. A wave, precise movement - and the needle is inside the ball, and the ball is intact! This is possible with a little preparation and a series of exercises. On the ball on both sides, you need to stick a piece of transparent adhesive tape, and the task of the magician is to learn how to hit exactly the marked places. It's not easy and requires some skill. But the effect produced by focus is worth the time and effort!

fruit transformation

An orange lies in the palm of a young magician. The magician covers it with a handkerchief, utters a magic spell - and now on his hand is not an orange, but an apple! And here's the solution: you need to peel the orange from the orange in advance. And inside it put a small apple. The peel is removed with a slight movement of the hand along with a handkerchief.

Coin - acrobat

Let's invite our viewers to pick up a coin from the table without touching it. Hardly anyone can do it. Meanwhile, it is enough to blow sharply on the coin from a distance of about 5 cm - it will jump, and you need to keep your hand very close in order to have time to pick up the coin. Focus is charming, but it takes practice.

I know your date of birth!

This trick, of course, is beyond the power of kids. But you can surprise them with children and adults at some holiday. The magician asks the viewer to multiply the date of his birth (number) by 2, add 5 to the result, multiply the amount by 50. Then add the number of the month of birth and name the resulting number. The presenter unmistakably names the date of birth of the viewer! And beforehand, in the mind, it subtracts 250 from the number named by the viewer. You will get a three- or four-digit number. One or two of the first digits of which is the number, and the second two are the month of birth.

Slippers and rug

The magician brings a rug onto the stage, shows it to the audience from all sides. He covers his feet with it (and at this time he quietly removes his slippers from his feet). The rug is removed - slippers are found! But that's not all: While the magician is bowing, the slippers themselves leave backstage (they are pulled on the fishing line by assistants)! Here is the confusion! Running for slippers!

Endless thread

There is a white thread on the magician's jacket, the magician tries to brush it off, but he does not succeed. He asks the audience to remove the thread. A kind viewer pulls the thread, pulls, pulls, but it never ends! Soon the viewer becomes entangled in the threads. In fact, in the inner pocket of the jacket there is a pencil with a long thread wound around it, and the end of the thread was pulled out with a needle. And we need a pencil for conspiracy - even if attentive viewers suspect something, a pencil in your pocket will not give out a secret - it's not a coil!

magic water

There is such an optical illusion: if you put a glass on a coin, it will be visible through the walls of the glass, but if you pour water into the glass, the coin will no longer be visible, unless, of course, you look at it from the side, but if you look exactly from above, then it will visible. This can become the basis for focus. For example, you can stick a coin to the bottom of a glass. The magician shows the audience a glass of water - nothing is visible. And now (after the magic words) we look at the glass from above - a coin has appeared in the glass!

weightless glass

For focus we need three glasses and a sheet of paper. We put two glasses on the table not far from each other. The magician informs the audience that a piece of paper placed on top of the glasses can easily support the weight of a third glass and invites the audience to try it out. Of course, no one believes. But in vain! This is possible if you fold a piece of paper like an accordion. For greater effect, water can be poured into the upper glass.

Trained button

Pour soda into a glass and put a small button there. Now we turn to the button: “float up!”, Then: “float down!” The button is obedient! And here there is no secret at all, the law of physics: gas bubbles, gathering around the button, lift it up, at the top they burst, and the button sinks again. It remains only to calculate the time for their teams.

Non-blown candle

Here again, the amazing laws of physics and no magic. We try to blow out the candle through the funnel - we blow into its narrow end. If the candle is exactly in the middle of the funnel, nothing happens, but if the flame is on the edge of the funnel, the candle immediately goes out. The fact is that the air blown out by us is dispersed and distributed around the edges of the funnel. Therefore, no air flow remains in the middle, and therefore the candle does not go out.

Video: tricks and their secrets

Simple trick with cards - video

Unusual tricks have always attracted the attention of people and made them dream of mastering this difficult art. However, many people are left on the way to their dream by the involuntary reverence that every person has for professional illusionists. Indeed, it is practically impossible to repeat many tricks without props, talent and many years of training. However, there are many simple magic tricks that a beginner illusionist can easily master.

magic beads

Everyone knows that if you cut the thread on which the beads are strung, the glass balls will crumble. Is it so? The magician asks one of the spectators to lend him beads. Shows the jewelry to everyone, holding it by the lock. After that, he cuts the thread with scissors, and the beads are poured into a substituted glass. It would seem that the decoration is irretrievably damaged, and the guest is upset.

However, the focus is not yet complete. The illusionist rolls a bag out of a sheet of paper, pours the contents of the glass into it, and then throws a thread. A wave of the hand - and completely whole beads appear from the paper bundle, even the cut-off lock is back in place! Meanwhile, the magician straightens the paper bag, and everyone sees a sheet of ordinary clean paper.

This trick invariably causes delight and amazement of the audience and, at the same time, its secret is very simple. For him, you will need the simplest beads with a lock and a trained assistant. Take a thin thread or fishing line and thread it through each bead, next to the main thread. Tie a large knot at both ends. You will have a necklace in your hands, seemingly ordinary, but now it consists of two threads, one of which can be cut without fear.

Performing the trick, you will need to take the beads by the top knot of the fake thread, holding them low above the glass, carefully cut off the bottom knot. All beads still held by the main thread will instantly slip into the substituted dishes. You will have a fake thread in your hands, and the ringing of beads on glass will serve as additional confirmation of the death of the necklace.

After that, you just have to roll a triangular bag out of paper and, pouring beads and thread into it, pull out the intact beads back.

It is important! A false thread dropped into a bag can give you away, so you need to learn how to discreetly hide it in your hand, only pretending to be pushing it into a paper bundle.

How to take a shirt off through a jacket

A spectacular trick, during which the magician removes the shirt from the spectator invited to the stage, without even touching the jacket worn over it, has long become a classic of the genre. However, its secret is very simple, and you can easily do it at home.

In this trick you can not do without the help of an assistant. A person who will be randomly selected among the guests must dress in advance in a special way: throw a shirt over his shoulders without putting his hands into the sleeves, and fasten the collar and cuffs. After a jacket or any other clothing with long sleeves, it will be impossible to guess about the unique "wardrobe" of your assistant. During the performance, it will be enough for you to unbutton the buttons and, pulling the sleeve, pull out the shirt.

Turning a handkerchief into an egg

For a holiday with friends, a trick with turning a silk scarf into an egg is great. The magician shows everyone a handkerchief and, shaking it, pushes it into a clenched fist. Then he waves his hand, utters a spell and opens his hand. To the amazement of the audience, the handkerchief is no longer in hand. Instead, an ordinary chicken egg lies in the palm of your hand. The magician breaks the egg with a pictorial gesture, among the broken shell everyone sees a piece of colored fabric miraculously found itself like that.

The transformation of a scarf, like any trick for beginners, is easy to repeat at home. For this you will need:

  • 1 egg;
  • sharp knife with a thin tip;
  • bright handkerchief made of thin fabric;
  • sandpaper or nail file.

First, you need to prepare the props, the role of which will be played by the egg. Make a small rounded hole in it and drain the yolk and protein through it. Dry the shell and gently rub the edges of the hole with sandpaper. It is in this egg that the handkerchief will be hidden during the trick, and it is important that the shell does not break ahead of time, catching on the fabric. Previously, the shell can be held for several hours in saline to make it more durable.

When everything is ready, you can proceed to the trick. Hide the egg in your fist so that it is not visible to the audience and, showing everyone the handkerchief, carefully push it through the hole into the shell. So, sim-salabim! The handkerchief in your hand has turned into a chicken egg.

It is important! Outwardly, the egg looks intact, but a hole in the side will instantly reveal your secret. Therefore, you need to hold the egg so that the thumb constantly covers it.

Scarf through the neck

Ask your friends what happens if you wrap a scarf around your neck and tug on the ends. “Nothing good for health,” you will hear. However, nothing is impossible for a magician, and you can demonstrate to your audience how an ordinary scarf, tightened around your neck, harmlessly passes through the body and remains in your hands.

The key to this trick lies in a special way of tying a scarf. Throw the fabric over your shoulders so that it runs along the back of the neck and hangs down on both sides of the chest. Grasp the opposite end of the scarf with each hand: right for the left, and vice versa. Now it all depends on how quickly you can complete the "tying". Bring the right end to the left behind the neck, leaving a small loop. With your second hand, at the same moment, throw the second part of the scarf, covering the neck also on the left, so that the fabric presses down and hides the loop that has been obtained before.

Your neck is now wrapped in a scarf that only looks tight. A slight pull is enough, and the fabric, slipping off, will remain in your hands without causing any harm. Here is a video where the same trick is shown only with a rope, the same with a scarf.

Of course, knowing the secret is not enough to successfully perform the trick. Remember that the more mysterious and unusual you behave, the more likely the audience will believe in your supernatural abilities.
