Skyrim console commands 5. How to complete quests in skyrim

www.site reminds that the use of cheats can significantly reduce interest in the game, and recommends playing honestly. Sub-Zero guide author.

Cheat code (English cheat code, cheat - "cheating", "cheating") - is usually used to simplify the passage of the game or to change the gameplay. To use "cheats" in Skyrim, you need to open the console (key "~" - tilde) and enter the code you need, the most common of them is immortality, also known as god mode, as well as walking through walls, getting any item, player invisibility.

Attention: After using cheats, you will not be able to get Steam achievements in this session. In order to return the ability to receive achievements, restart Skyrim.

Squares in the console

For those who have squares instead of letters in the console, do the following:

Open the text file from the folder with the game "Skyrim/Data/Interface/fontconfig.txt". Find and change the line map "$ConsoleFont" = "Arial" Normal to map "$ConsoleFont" = "FuturaTCYLigCon" Normal.

If after that fontconfig.txt does not want to be saved or offers to save a copy of this file, then do the following: in the properties of this file, check if the “Read Only” checkbox is checked; if it's worth it, remove it, change the file, save it and check this box back.

Changing the language in the game

The game cannot translate the language in standard ways, in order to change the language from Russian to English and vice versa, you need to change the default system language.

For Windows XP this is done like this: Start -> Control Panel -> Regional and Language Options. There, in the "Languages" tab, click the "Details ..." button and in the window that appears, select desired language default input.

For Windows 7: start (in the corner there is a round button with a flag) -> Control Panel -> Regional and Language Options. On the "Languages and keyboards" tab, click the "Change keyboard" button and in the window that appears, select the desired default input language.

For Windows 8: before starting the game, switch the language to ENG, during the game - ALT + TAB (minimize the game), switch the language, ALT + TAB twice (expand the game).

Fifth part of the series The Elder Scrolls features an exquisite storyline laced with major missions, side quests, and small errands. There is definitely not enough time to complete each instruction, why not make life easier with codes?

201 of the Fourth Era. An end was put to the Great War - the armistice agreement pacified the soldiers, stopped sieges and arson of villages. But not everyone in the secluded province of Tamriel agrees to the terms of the peace document. Discontent turned into a rebellion - especially frisky and suffering rebels were exiled to hard work or executed. Dovakin, the greatest warrior who absorbs the souls of dragons, randomly got into the detachment of guilty criminals. The hero is waiting ordeal time to get out of the trap, crush the traitors and choose the right path. Only the right and timely choice will save secluded lands. But the path is unpredictable - maybe Skyrim 5 codes will come in handy?

From A to Z

The ElderScrolls V story develops in the usual way for the series: main character taken into custody, long hours ahead, torturing the soul with reflections and indignation, and then execution and the end of suffering. But fate decides otherwise - it is important to save Dovakin, because there is no one else to entrust the game universe to! Further escape, fleeting success and a heavy burden of responsibility.

Each event is the voice of a choice that changes the situation around, so you will have to act methodically: from simple to complex, from first to last. The codes for Skyrim 5 in this situation are perfect option. Easy tasks that take up a lot of unnecessary time can be skipped using a simple plot narrative bypass scheme. Yes, so the story of a nameless prisoner who arrived from the void of time will become incomplete, and memories of the plot will be missing, but sometimes there is no other choice.

Passing by additional tasks or uninteresting missions is worth it for two reasons:

1. Orders that are absolutely banal from the point of view of the gameplay. Wandering around the cities, passing messages or parcels with items is boring, and even not profitable! Why not enter the code to complete the quest in Skyrim and immediately go on an exciting adventure?
2. Insidious failures in the system for receiving, transferring and developing the quest. And important items sometimes disappear, and NPCs fall through the ground. Effective ways it’s enough to return everything to the original version, but sometimes only the code for the quest in Skyrim saves.

Cunning maneuver and effective algorithm

So how does the quest skip system work? Of course, in a few steps, in a different way, codes for quests or items in Skyrim do not work.

1. First of all, the active task is fixed in the log (J key). Both a quest from the main storyline and an additional assignment will do - the choice is not limited, the code for completing the quest in Skyrim will cope with any difficulty! You need to fix the solution with the Enter key.
2. Next, the console, opened by the "tilde" key (located in the upper left corner of the keyboard, right in place of the letter ё). And the phrase "showquesttargets" - the entered command will show the ID of the pinned quest - the number should be kept in mind or on paper for further use.
3. The recorded ID is immediately entered in the next "getstageID" command, which displays the stage of the quest in progress. A number will be displayed on the screen, for example, 300.00.
4. You can determine which part of the pinned quest you should go to by using the "sqsID" command, which displays each stage on the screen. The system will issue information with numbers, like 300.00 1, where 1 - confirms the success of the stage completion, and 0 - indicates the availability for the passage. It remembers the stage marked with a zero, and use it for its intended purpose!
5. Then it remains only to enter the command "setstageIDstage" - no quotes, only words and numbers that replace the ID and the stage selected for the transition. The command looks like this: setstage MQ101 350.00.

The code for the quest in Skyrim almost always works - but it's worth remembering some of the nuances. Firstly, you should not complete the entire quest line right away - you can lose valuable rewards and lose almost all progress. When entering the code for quests in Skyrim, you should not insert quotation marks, brackets and punctuation marks - only command text and a number indicating the desired parameter. Sometimes, to get the desired result, the algorithm will have to be repeated several times!

To complete quests in Skyrim, we need the following cheat codes:

showquesttargets - Shows the ID of the active quest

getstage (without brackets) - shows the stage of the specified quest (the resulting number is not % completed).

setstage [stage] (without brackets) - set the stage of execution

movetoqt (without brackets) - teleport to the key point (the last unfinished stage) of the specified task. (added by Robin)

sqs (without brackets) - show a list of all stages of the active quest (they are different for each quest). Used in the setstage cheat.

player.completequest (no parentheses) - complete the quest. This command is not recommended as you won't be able to get the next quest if it's a quest chain. Use only if you want to complete the quest without the possibility of further progress.

And so, we already know all the necessary console commands for the successful completion of quests in Skyrim, but what and why to enter is not. Since we will perform all actions in the console, I want to remind you that to scroll the text in the console, you must use the and keys. The method written below describes how to move from one stage of the quest to another.

Save the game and don't overwrite this save until you complete the quest.

Open your quest list ([J] key)

Select the required quest you want to complete and make it active - press .

Open the console and enter showquesttargets - get the quest ID.

In the resulting list, look for Current quest: Quest ID - remember / write down this ID.

Now we enter movetoqt (without brackets) and try to complete the quest, and if nothing comes out, read on.

We enter in the console getstage (without brackets). After that, the stage for completing this quest will appear in the console in the following form: GetStage >> [number].00 - remember / write down this number. Now we need to find out which stage of the quest comes after this, obtained using the getstage command.

We enter in the console sqs (without brackets) - we get a list of all stages of the specified quest (for each quest they are different) in the following form Stage [stage]: 1 (or 0). 1 - indicates that this stage has already been passed, and 0 - not yet.

In the resulting list, we are looking for our quest stage, obtained using the getstage command, and see what stage comes after it - remember / write down the number. For example, if using getstage you received GetStage >> 400.00, and in the list obtained using the sqs code, after the line Stage 400: 1, there is the line Stage 450: 0 - remember / write down the number 450.

Enter in the console setstage [stage] (without brackets) - set the stage of the quest. As a stage, we enter the number obtained in the previous paragraph (we have 450), and as the quest ID - the ID obtained using the showquesttargets cheat.

Enter movetoqt (without brackets) - teleportation to the target of the active task.

We continue to pass the next stage of the quest.

Notes:

If nothing worked the first time - repeat steps 9 and 10 several times, but at the same time change the stage - enter the next one in the list obtained using the sqs command (without brackets).

If you repeat steps 9 and 10, while changing the quest stage (all in turn) from the one obtained using the sqs command (without brackets) to the last one in the sqs list (without brackets), then you will complete all stages of this quest and will move from one key points to another. The move will not always happen. This is how you can complete any quest 100%.

It is not necessary to go exactly to the next stage of the quest, you can go directly to the last one, but in this case you may not get the next quest, since you will not have an active quest or point for teleportation with the movetoqt command - you will not know where to get it ( next quest).

If you go directly to the last stage, then you may not receive all the rewards for this quest (not tested).

You cannot activate the previous stage of the quest (I did not succeed).

How to find out the name of a quest by its ID

If, after entering the showquesttargets command, you get several lines of Current quest: quest ID and you do not know which of these IDs corresponds to a particular quest, do the following:

enter in the console help quest ID 4

in the resulting list, look for the line QUST: quest_id (some ID) ‘Quest name’

repeat steps 1 and 2 until you find the quest you need by its name.

The special edition allows you to use cheat commands to the same extent as in the original version of the game.

There is nothing wrong with using cheat commands in single player mode. While playing the original or special edition of Skyrim, you have the opportunity to prescribe any cheat commands to your taste in the console. Use them to become invulnerable, gain the ability to fly, walk through walls, change your appearance or skills, place different objects on the map, and even pass the level. Here are the instructions for activating these commands:

To open the console, click on the button (tilde) and enter the appropriate codes below. You can activate multiple commands at once. So you will simultaneously acquire the skill of teleport, flight and invisibility.

Some commands require additional codes, a list of which we have compiled. We have selected the required number and NPCs from Skyrim.

Be careful! Using some commands can lead to glitches, problems and crashes. You should definitely save before using these cheats. You wouldn't want to mess up a walkthrough and start all over again, right?

Console commands

tgm- The good old god mode, in which you are completely invulnerable and look like a real god.

tcl- No barriers will stop you now. Pass through walls, ceiling and mountains like a ghost. Use the code again to return to normal.

unlock Can't find the right key? Is your hacking skill too low? Open the console, click on the door or chest you want to open and write "unlock" on the line. That would be so in real life!

psb- You now own every spell in the game. Feel like a magic school graduate in just one click.

player.advlevel- Automatic passing of the level.

caqs- Automatically completes all stages of your main quest. Suitable for those who do not like to bother in the passage of games.

showracemenu"Don't like the way Bosmer looks?" Now you can fix the look of your character, just like at the beginning of the game. But there is one thing: this command will restart the level and reset skills.

player.modav skill X– Where “skill” is the skill you want to upgrade, and X is the level of upgrade. The names of skills without spaces are entered into the line, with the exception of the “archer” skill, there is a special command for it - “Marksman”. A similar situation with the skill of eloquence, in this case, you need to enter this name "Speechcraft".

player.additem ITEM ###- Each item in the game has its own code, which is similar to the catalog of the Argos store. You will find all these codes in our list of things. Replace the word "ITEM" with the item code and ### with the quantity you want. Now the dream of having 47 servings of cabbage soup with you will become a reality.

player.additem 0000000f ###– An easy way to get gold in the game. Any number from 1 to 999 will do.

player.additem 0000000a "###"- Finished the lockpicks? Enter the quantity you need and voila! They will magically appear to you.

addshout- Use in combination with codes from the Skyrim Wikia page to get your favorite screams in the game.

tm- Remove all game menus. Suitable for those who want to take a couple of screenshots to convince their grandparents that Skyrim is the only place you visited during the holidays. Don't forget that this command removes the console. So you will have to enter this command again, without the console.

tmm-Value 0 and 1 turns off and on markers on the map respectively.

tfc– Unfortunately, this is not a Team Fortress Classic. However, you will gain access to the "flying camera", which will allow you to leave the character's body and fly up. A good thing for those who like to take screenshots.

tai- NPCs cannot interact with main characters.

tcai“Dragons become docile creatures, like kittens.

tdetect- This team makes you a bastard: now you can steal, kill and go to the forest without obstacles. But you will still be pursued if you try to steal something from the pockets of passers-by.

player.setcrimegold ###- Customize your wanted level with this useful command. Set the value to '0' and you will no longer be wanted.

player.setlevel ##- Set your difficulty level.

player.setav speedmult ### Do you want to run like the Flash? Set the value to over 100 to speed up the movement in the game.

movetoqt- This command directs you straight to the target.

kill“Look at the subject you want to kill. Go to the console, click on the target and enter the command. All enemies will fall before you.

help– This command lists all console commands. We decided to recall it here so that you can read the article.

resurrect- Aim at the creature that you want to resurrect, and it will rise before you more alive than all living things.

player.modav carryweight #- Tired of being tired? Upgrade your inventory and you will be able to carry more goods and things. The tgm command also allows you to transfer as many things as you like.

player.setav health #- Improves health.

coc qasmoke- Bethesda has cleverly placed a special room in the game with all the game stuff. Write this command to find yourself in this room. It will take some time to load, there are too many things in this room. Type "coc Riverwood" to return to the game.

qqq- Exit the game without the help of any annoying menus.

removeallitems– Select a target and write this command. You will get all the things of this character, even his clothes. Warning: Doesn't work in real life.

sex change- Change the gender of your character.

set timescale to #- The default value is 20. Increase this value and get Skyrim in slow motion.

placeatme- Use this command to place NPCs and monsters near you. Simply select a code from our list of NPCs and Monsters. This is the command we used to place the dragon army around the city of Whiterun. Be aware that the team prefers adding new creatures to the map over old ones. If you use the command on non-player characters, you will simply create clones of them.

move to- Moves the player to an NPC. Useful for Karjo and nomadic Khajiit, who can be hard to find as they follow caravans throughout the province of Skyrim. In this case, you simply replace the words ''actor ID'' with a reference to the character. This command is opposite in function to the placeatme command. You can find the character IDs in our list.

setrelationshiprank- Choose two NPCs and establish a relationship between them. The value ranges from 4 (lover) to -4 (main enemy). At the same time, these characters will fight or do completely different things ... unnatural.

add faction- Click on an NPC and use this command to place him in one of the factions. This applies not only to the Stormcloak faction and the Imperials. The code 0005C84D will add the character to a friendly faction. He will have new phrases that will allow him to join you. The code 00019809 will add the character to the faction of potential wives that you can marry. However, this does not work on NPCs with unique voices. So you won't be able to marry Esbern or General Tullius anytime soon.

disable“I don’t have a mouth, but I have to scream” command. Activating this command puts NPCs into a strange state. They are invisible, cannot be collided with, they cannot interact with the main character, but technically they still exist. Terrible, right?

enable– Cancels the effect of the disable command. Using these commands brings your brethren back on the map, giving you a chance to see if they can fight.

setessential“It must be fun to play god mode and be immortal. But don't you feel sad at the thought that all the characters you love will eventually die? I think it's sad. Luckily, there is a solution: use a command with a value of 1 to make each character stand out. Simply put, they will fall down from a lot of damage and get up again. Setting the value to "0" will make all characters mortal. Be careful with this team, it's not for nothing that Bethesda made all the characters immortal.

setownership- This command makes you the owner of the selected item and removes all those "stolen" labels from your ill-earned wealth.

setstage– Allows you to move to the starting or next level of a quest. A useful command, especially when you failed a mission by killing the wrong character. The Skyrim Wiki page has a list with mission and level codes.

setscale- Changes the size of the main or non-player character. The default value is 1. Small size- 0. You can increase the character to the maximum value - 10.

unequipment- Select a character and enter a command. This will force the previously selected character to remove the item they are holding. Especially useful when this character has a sword that you like.

fov– Sets the frame for your field of view.

tfow– Removes fog on the map.

player.drop- Causes the character to drop items, even items that are important to the quest. Type "drop" to drop everything from your current inventory.

dispelallspells- Removes all spells from NPCs. Does not work on werewolves, as they become completely new NPCs after transformation.

Mark For Delete– Selects an item and removes it so it never appears on the map again. The next time you load this item will no longer be available. Helps get rid of annoying things like ash piles that never go away.

setgs fJumpHeightMin– This command sets the jump height. A high value will send you straight to the moon.

Skyrim cheat codes - Enchanting (improving) weapons and armor

Enchantment - a skill with which you can independently add magical properties ordinary items.

Rules for creating enchanted items:

  • You can only upgrade the base item, no other enchantments;
  • each item can have no more than 2 enchantments;
  • the quality of the enchantment depends on the Enchanting skill;
  1. upgrade the Enchantment skill to level 100 - Player.SetAV Enchanting 100.
  2. open all enchantment perks (a way to upgrade perks).

There is a cheat code for adding an already finished enchanted item to the inventory. To do this, you need to know the base item code and the enchantment code:

Once enchanted, the item will have a very small charge (170-350). To increase the charge of a weapon, you must pick it up and enter the following code:

Skyrim cheat codes - Legendary weapons and armor

Legendary weapon and armor are standard items, but with significantly improved performance. These things are created by professional blacksmiths (skill level from 91 to 100). The percentage of item improvement directly depends on the level of the Blacksmithing skill. The higher the skill, the better the characteristics of the created legendary item will be.

What you need to upgrade weapons and armor to legendary quality:

  1. blacksmithing level 91+;
  2. Workbench;
  3. conventional armor or weapons;
  4. ingredients to improve (different for all things).

All these things in Skyrim can be obtained in the usual way, but it will take a long time. With the help of cheat codes, this process can be greatly accelerated. Enter the following codes:

  1. Player.SetAV Smithing 100- we pump "Blacksmithing" to level 100;
  2. Player.PlaceAtMe 000D932F- create a workbench right in front of you;
  3. Player.AddItem [number]– add a blank item to the inventory (item codes can be viewed here).
  4. In the game, we approach the workbench, look at what ingredients are needed to improve the selected item;
  5. Player.AddItem [number]– add the necessary ingredients to the inventory (item codes can be viewed here);
  6. We approach the workbench, we improve the item to legendary quality.

TES V: Skyrim codes - How to find the item ID

You can add absolutely any item to your inventory, the main thing is to know its game code. If you already have some unique item, and you want to create several more copies of this item, then you can determine the item code:

Method 1

  • Enter the following code in the console: Player.ShowInventory

Note. This method always works, but if you have too many items in your inventory, it may be difficult to find the item you need. In this case, use the second method.

Method 2

  1. We put the item whose ID you need to find out in an empty box (barrel, chest, bag or something else).
  2. We approach as close as possible to the box (it is desirable to sit down).
  3. Open the console, click on the box in which our item lies, enter the command INV.
  4. We are looking for the necessary item by name and look at the ID of the item.

Having learned the item code, we use it in a standard cheat to add an item:

Codes for placing objects

Skyrim cheats and codes - Determining the object code

These commands work only when a certain object is selected in the console. To select an object in the console, you just need to click on it with the mouse. After selecting an object, an inscription with the object code (object_ID) will appear in the console.

To scroll through the text in the console, if there is a lot of it, use the "Page Up" and "Page Down" keys.

If you want to apply several commands to the same selected character or object, then you do not need to select it with the mouse each time, it is enough to select only 1 time (the selection is saved).

There are many invisible objects in the game (sound sources, light sources, quest zones), they can be mistakenly highlighted instead of the necessary item, so it is advisable to be as close to the object as possible to make it easier to hit it. Various game special effects (fog, snow, blizzard) also complicate the process of selecting an object.

Objects that are out of view of the screen can only be selected in the console by their game ID code. This is done using the PRID [item code] command.

Skyrim console commands - Placement of objects

For the following commands to work, you must first select the object - open the console and click on the object. After that, an inscription (object ID) should appear in the middle of the console screen.

(All the objects you create have an ID that starts with FF000…)

Notes:

To apply several commands to the same object, you do not need to select it again each time, the selection is saved.

Sometimes, after applying the Setpos and GetAngle commands, the object moves only visually, physically it remains in the same place (the texture is shifted, not the object itself). To fully move an object, you need to select it and enter two more commands: Disable and enable. You can also enter the command Setscale 1 to update the physical model of the item.

To align an incorrectly placed item, enter:

SetAngle x 0, SetAngle y 0, SetAngle z [any number].

Object Management

Cheats from Skyrim - Objects for the house

Many Skyrim players have their own home or favorite place where they spend a lot of time. But not every place has the necessary jobs: alchemy tables, forges, workbenches.

These cheat codes allow you to install jobs anywhere:

Home furniture

When created, all items appear in front of you in the direction you are facing. To set the item straight, before introducing the cheat, center your gaze so that the character looks straight ahead, and not up or down.

Cheats in the game Skyrim - Companions NPCs

In Skyrim, almost any character can be made your partner so that he follows us and helps in battles. To do this, we do the following:

  1. We approach the required character, open the console, click on the character. Let's start typing codes:
  2. SetRelationshipRank Player 3– transfer the character to a group of possible allies.
  3. AddFac 0005C84D 1- add the necessary dialogue.
  4. Close the console, continue the game. We speak with the character, select the dialog that appears: “Follow me. I need your help".
SetRelationshipRank Player 3 Transfer a character to a group of possible allies
AddFac 0005C84D 1 Add NPC dialogue to add him as a partner
Set PlayerFollowerCount to 0 Adds a dialogue for taking new partners. After the introduction of this command, the old partners will continue to follow the player, but you can take another partner. As soon as you take someone else as your partner, the old partner stops following you. If no one is following you, there are no satellites, then this command is useless. The maximum number of partners is 1. There is no point in entering something else instead of 0 - it will not give any effect.
Set PlayerFollowerCount to [#] Set the number of companions. By setting "0", you can refuse all companions at once

  5. Enter SQS- we get a list of all stages of the specified quest in the following form Stage [stage]: 1 (or 0). 1 - means that the stage has been passed, 0 - the stage has not yet been completed. In the resulting list, we are looking for our memorized stage of the quest. Remember the number of the next step.

Complete the entire quest with the code:

If you complete a quest with the CompleteQuest command, it will simply be marked as completed and you will no longer be able to continue it. At the same time, you will not receive any reward for such a quest.

To receive all the rewards for the quest, you must complete all of its component stages one by one. To do this, execute commands 6), 7) from the previous paragraph until all stages in the quest are completed. This is how you can complete any quest 100%.
