Assembly order

  1. Fix the steel corners to the walls of the garage so that the hood of the vehicle is lower in height.

  3. Install the "worm" gearbox yourself.

  6. Install a sprocket with a smaller diameter on the gearbox output shaft.
  7. Make two holes in the plate for the second chain.
  8. Slide the second chain through these holes, put one end of the chain over the smaller sprocket, and attach the hook at the other end.
  9. The assembly is complete.

Using the lift:

  1. Disconnect the engine from the vehicle body.
  2. Place the cable loops under the motor and fasten them to the hook.
  3. Raise the engine carefully and slowly.

In our case, the length of the platform is 350, the width is 150, and the depth is 20 millimeters. Inside the "box" you should put a piece of wood cut out according to its dimensions, it is fixed with fasteners inserted into the preliminary drilled holes in the side sheets of the site. Rubber is attached to the tree from above, an eyelet is welded to the metal from below for fastening to the upper beam and stiffeners - and that's it, the platform is ready.

The upper beam itself is assembled from two corners with a length of 1500-1700 mm, welded together into a U-shaped profile. Inside, approximately in the middle, you need to weld a metal insert, which is necessary for better fixing of the jack. Next, you need to weld a plate of the same length and height to the U-profile so that at the end you get a rectangular beam.

One end of it is tightly welded with a small plate, to which, in turn, a bushing is attached to connect to the rear beam, guides for a jack and bushings for metal stopper fingers are welded to the other end.

The length of the beam should be approximately equal to the length of the machine, therefore, they take four corners 32 with a length of 1500 mm, weld two into a square profile.

  5. Two connecting nodes - front (two pipes, corner and rod) and rear (two sheets of metal connected by a perpendicular metal strip).
  6. Lower beam - four corners are welded into a rectangle and fastened with a bolt with an M16 nut and welding, after which you need to fasten the connecting unit and the lower beam;
  7. Rack - four corners of 154 centimeters each are welded and assembled with potholders in a square. Half a centimeter after each of the attachment points, we drill holes with a diameter of two and a half centimeters. Then you need to make three more holes so that the upper beam and the pin of the "shoe" pass freely between the profiles.
